Height and weight aren't the only factors to consider unfortunately. We're all different size-wise...different length legs, back, arms, distribution of weight - calves, thighs, gut, chest, shoulders, arms etc etc.

I'm 1m 93cm and currently 105kgs...have been heavier. Have been lighter. Weight distribution has changed a chunk.

I have the 18-ways and find them incredibly comfortable. But with so many adjustments it takes a while to find the sweet spot. And in doing that you also need to play with where the wheel is. Discomfort in one part of the body might originate in a "non-logical" way (your hips might suffer because the wheel isn't set right, causing you to hunch etc).

I found adjusting the rake of the seat back makes a lot of difference, and allows the seat base rear to be lower/base front higher. The thigh support extension is also important. I like that the bolsters can be made more snug/grip slightly.

I can go 3hrs easily and feel fine at the end of it.

It would not surprise me if the padding material in the Panamera was softer than in the Taycan. The cars are meant for different purposes. The Panamera I borrowed while my car was being serviced was more "plush exec"/Jag than "sports saloon". Are the part numbers the same?

Ultimately do not buy any expensive car, or select a fundamental expensive touch point option without trying it first...

Just had this one with my Mrs - thigh length and the fact that the seat base on the 18 way is 1-2cm longer than the 14 way, both at shortest length.

I'll add my comment to the pile for folks in the future who search for this thread and want to read opinions. American here, so: 6'0, 165lbs.

I have the 18-way and love them. They feel sporty, and I feel held. This also means they're a bit firmer. They don't feel as feathery, cushiony, soft as my Model Y seats, but I felt much more held in place and physically supported.

If you want to feel luxury when driving, maybe not the best choice. If you want to feel sporty, great choice.

I’ve experienced this in other cars I’ve owned. I heavily apply Gliptone conditioner (or another good leather conditioner) and leave it out in the sun and let the stuff soak in with the heated seats on and heat full blast. The leather becomes more supple and forms to your shape. Hope this helps.
