Ha, this has happened to me more than a few times. I guess it’s good to know there’s a TSB for it but the first time they checked it (which pre-dates this TSB) they couldn’t find anything.
Finally, I brought my car to the dealer for this before and their response had been "seems to function as normal." They blamed the tinted windows, saying that it caused more friction.
I didn’t even tell my dealer. But when it went in for regular service they called me -driver side mechanism broken and needed to be replaced. It was still working, only thing I noticed were the slow speeds, and it “reversed” on me in 1 instance months earlier. Couldn’t close the window until I tried to roll it further down, then it went up lol.
Anyway it was warranty work and if they could keep the car 1 day longer.
No problem of course.
Got the car back - window was not properly aligned. Definite “whooshing” sound at all speeds. Returned it and waited for them to fiddle with it. No luck. Sound went away when I rolled down the windows 1mm. Did that for a few months.
They told me they needed it longer to fix it. No loaner available. When it went in for a change of tires they fixed it. As far as I could infer they needed to do the install all over again. Not a part issue.
That the part failed after only 3 years and that it was incorrectly installed/adjusted when replaced was not great, of course.
But the dealer service was very good. Especially since mine is a CPO.

On my if I push the window button a little it goes down very slowly, but if I use the auto down function by fully pressing the button it moves quickly. Does everyone’s windows act this way?
