    Wow thanks for all this! I cannot say why my 2018 MX doesn't charge at 72. When not connected to any charger, on the charge screen it defaults to the max rate of 72 (the screen where you can set the max rate.). I'll say that this is off of a sub-panel in a detached garage. Perhaps something...

    I don't think there is a technical issue but a political one? My understanding is that Tesla was forced to open them up in Europe but no such will exists here in the states, and I cannot imagine Tesla doing it without some sort of coercion.

    oh I didn’t think about the supercharger network, it’s not available to anyone but Tesla in the US but if it’s opened one day. is this a feature a dealer can install later?

    Hi there. In the US (PNW area.) I have two Teslas at home, MX, M3 and we have the Tesla Gen2 wall charger on a 80 amp circuit. I can charge the MX at 56 amps apparently at 12 kwh (I say apparently because that's what the car is reporting when I charge.) Now, due to aggressive negotiations...
