Thank you everyone, very much appreciated. I’ll go the commando socket and 32A fused and earthed supply from the fuse box. It’s charged at home overnight 99% of the time
it’s this
Mobile Charger Connect
Upgraded mobile charger (mode 2) for charging at household and industrial electrical outlets. The touchscreen allows settings to be changed and different information and statistics on charging processes to be called up. Compatible with the Home Energy Manager
Thanks people. Quick question but how long does it take to charge from from 20% - 80% on a commando socket? Weighing up whether to install a charger or use the one that comes with it

Hi
New to EV’s so bear with me. I pick up my Taycan soon but getting confused charger wise. It comes with mobile charger connect. I’ll be charging at home 99% of the time. Do I need a different charger too? Also, is the mobile charger connect waterproof as would be installed outside.
just over £1200 comprehensive parked on drive, clean license 10 years NCB - Admiral
Went down slightly when changed my occupation to electrical engineer for Managing Director for some reason.
PCP makes no sense to me. I don’t think putting £25k deposit down then paying £495 / month for 4 years to then not own anything at the end unless I then pay £23k makes sense.
Thanks. I’ve found a 21 plate volcanic grey one with £30k of options at a Porsche centre for £61k - 22k miles which is incredibly tempting. It cost over £107k
Who knows, maybe battery technology will evolve in such a way that cells can be replaced in the future .
Im on the verge of taking the plunge and buying a 21 plate over 60 months meaning the car will be 7/8 years old at the end of the HP deal. Am I being incredibly stupid? Will there even be a market for one that old almost at the end of its battery warranty?
I currently pay zero BIK on a commercial vehicle (Nissan Navarra) but around £5k in diesel / parking. I could charge the Taycan for free and rarely do more than 30 miles a day.
What the heart desires rarely matches what the head says.
I had this from my accountant regarding buying used if it helps -
Year 1 = £60,000 car x 18% = £10800.
This will then be deducted off your profit so saving 25% = £2,700
year 2 = £49,200 (£60,000-£10,800) x 18% = £8,856 saving £2,214
year 3 = £40,344 (£49,200-£8,856) x 18% = £7,261 saving...
Hi I’m new to the forum and interested in buying a Taycan, my first Porsche.
I run a small Ltd business turning over around £250k. Only myself and wife as employees (directors)
My CP is only usually around £10-£15k so my questions probably have obvious answer’s, can I even afford a brand new...
