my bad, I thought we were talking about having just 1 model, electric, replacing both the Taycan & the Panamera (ie not a dual-platform ICE/EV model).
Guess I was dreaming :)
My dealer didn't know why my future car (TT MY20) didn't show the Android Auto icon - he was honest though, telling me about another MY20 who benefitted from the update in late 2022.
I did my research, including here, and once I was 100% sure it should have it I pushed back heavily and finally...
Yep, bullshit from this dealer, really surprising.
Funny @SergeyIndy I have 0 problem with the Smartlift (except sometimes I press it too close from previous location and then it doesn't offer to "save" the lift position, but that's normal)
unless they take only the good points of the Panamera (bigger space inside & trunk) and keep this beautiful line :)
I was looking at Panameras lately, I still prefer my T J1.1 Turbo but it's not that far, I could probably live with a new version 100% electrical inspired by the Taycan, more...
wish the European Union would protect consumers the same way, it's a good thing in the US, and you guys always find great/funny names for this legal stuff "REPAIR" is excellent :)
Several things said about tariffs already : history of economics shows it can be a good tool if it is intelligently used (unlike your orange potus), ie measured to compensate the "unfair" portion of the competing country's price structure. If you plug 1000% on everything it leads to the contrary...
Indeed, it will be interesting to see how this develops, and if it will influence Porsche in Europe too, since we don't have exactly the same "class action" process (we may get there someday soon though). In the end with all manufacturers it's always about "if we don't do it ourselves we don't...
not much of a choice then I guess, but if you were alone to decide ? lol...
I saw this video showing 2 superimposed images of a Taycan & Cayenne EV coupé, it really looks like a higher/bigger Taycan but with extremely close proportions, and the more I look out there, the more I'm not finding any...
Thanks @chun I'll try either a Turbo or GTS then (Macan).
Cayenne EV : don't forget the "S", you can also spec it with PAR, I'd go for that in a heartbeat if I could afford loosing ~40% of 150K€ in 3 years :CWL:
right, similar impression I got when I drove this Macan EV I mentioned, but might have been a spec issue, maybe the Macan GTS with air suspension is better.
Definitive best seems to be Cayenne EV + PAR, but I'm not rich enough yet to take the hit of the depreciation sooooo I'm looking for a...
ah damn was it the latest generation ?
I was considering to switch to a 2nd hand Cayenne coupé hybrid, to wait out the next ~2-3 years until I can get a well-optioned Cayenne S EV for <100K€.
Wiser from budget standpoint, but I won't if it drives badly :-/
How did you feel the handling vs...
if I'm not mistaken MY25 models were starting deliveries end of 2024 ? At least the standard sedan models, I can't find the exact date, just that the GTS & 4 were delivered early 2025 (Calendar year).
I guess that's what he means
Indeed have to be sure it's a J1.2 otherwise no obvious benefit.
Being French I confirm :)
Love the Cayenne coupé design, it's like a bigger Taycan, might have found my replacement !! (J1.1 Turbo is too sporty for my old back I guess lol)
Exactly, as a family of lawyers, normal thinking matches their "*"
* In case of damage that cannot be attributed to age-related changes or normal wear and tear
Means if your battery looses a few % SoH per year : not taken under warranty
