Yes this takes power from the OBD port and works both when the car is on and off. Just finished doing a similar install on my daughter's Audi A3 and my BMW M4 this weekend. Snaps into the OBD diagnostic port and then rest is same as any other hardwire without going to the tap into the fuse box...

Yes sport sound I've heard too many times is a gimmick. Test drove a car with it but left it off mine. Didn't make the experience anything more special and could save the $$ on something else. Rear axle not that great other than slow circle and low speed but you probably won't notice it in day...

Pretty good specs but most say the passenger display is not that useful. Surround camera is a must as it is a wide car. ACC I actually use a bit more on my car, a CT4. Would think it would come with air suspension...I love it on my CT4. I too am thinking whether I should upgrade to a ST GTS...
