Then you should be good. Lack of any paperwork from dealer is still concerning esp since you gave them money/deposit. Otherwise they could change the terms..add an ADM...or just refuse to sell you the car man. Seen it happen before amongst some P-car dealers especially for in demand vehicles.
Did the email come from Porsche or the dealer? Porsche TDY does send an email and ask you create an account to track your car after an order is placed towards an allocated car. That usually has a commission number associated with it which your dealer should have provided you when you gave them...
Very bad. Why you'd give them money and people keep doing this with NOTHING in writing is beyond me. Crazy. Dealer then technically has your $$ but NOTHING on the terms agreed to which they can change as they will. Lots of this going on in the 992 forums where no cars; huge demand and guys...
Opted out for my car. Figured it would be another thing that was good for a min but then would be turned off or forgotten/not used. Saved option $$ for other items.
Mine on order also but car won't get to dealer for another 10 days or so. Likely end of month delivery with my travel/work schedule. Suncoast should have them delivered by then. My dealer will install them for me just like with my 992. during delivery.
Yes my dealer said the $7500 credit still applies to either lease or can claim with taxes on all Taycans they are delivering. Mine will come in at end of month. Unlikely to lease as I plan on keeping the car for a min. Allows options to sell as I'll have at least 20-30% or more RV by the time...
Would fit nicely with my 992S coupe and my CT4 (incoming). Not sure I'd keep all three tho with that coupe around AND the kiddos out the house! SMDH. It is a looker and they would sell a bunch of them am sure. Talk about the current demand issues...this would make thing crazy!!!
Sounds like a business proposal/proposition especially in a place like cal California with a high number of EVs on the road. 4-5 vans with these charge packs could do a lot.
Great but curious...what PDI work is needed still? That usually happens at port not the dealer before they release it. But guess sometimes there is still stuff that is needed to be done once they arrive before you get the car huh?
Just got a message from my dealer that car has been released...
Again you're placing too much "faith" into TYD. It is only an estimate and based on info loaded by Porsche AG which changes throughout the vehicle shipment as port and global conditions change also. Trucking schedules are contracted by Porsche NA not your dealer for delivery and the dealers...
Good concept TYD is but its not like Fedex or UPS tracking which folks seem to expect. Its just estimates guys and a window into the process of getting a car from the factory to you. Nice gimmick but not meant to have the level of fidelity that some buyers expect.
At this point they really...
My car was on the Glovis and still hasn't passed/finished its PDI according to TYD (as of 6am this morning) and also nothing from my dealer. They usually give me a heads up when they have confirmation that the car is on the way and released. So interesting that your dealer basically backdated...
Yes my car was on same ship and I have then get PDI'd then transported via ship to me...no way I'll see it as soon as you guys but my TDY did update from 4 Feb '22 to 14 Jan '22 so that is a plus! :)
Yes from what I've heard once at port the unloading process can take 24hrs depending on car and...
Hard question to anwser. I have a 22 CT4 pending delivery next month at MSRP but then again I got my allocation last July 2021. Much harder to do now and for a GTS ST more likely to have either a long wait and/or a markup or both from those who just take what their local dealer offers. Some...
