Hah! Yes, there's usually a Taycan or two parked near my office on Fillmore Street. And sometimes one takes my favorite spot just in front of the Peets. Although I would never street park mine for fear of getting curb-rash on the rims.

These on-vessel dates to Benecia are interesting. I was a January delivery and then my car finally finished production, which adjusted the delivery date to Christmas Eve.
But the funny thing is... the car is already in Emden and it'll be on the vessel and departing for Benecia on November 19. I...
I looked but it doesn't show ships departing Emden in November that are bound for Benecia, at least as far as I can tell. But perhaps I'm looking at the wrong place?
This is basically what happened to me. Delivery pushed to end of Jan, with production completion for Nov 26, and then suddenly production completed and the car went off to Emden. It was supposed to arrive there on the 29th but actually arrived yesterday.
It's scheduled to depart Emden on Nov 19...
FWIW MY21:
1) ordered in may, began production in July.
2) delivery scheduled for end of October
3) was then pushed to mid December
4) then Jan 7
5) then, a few days ago, jan 24
6) just checked now and production is completed. Should ship on Nov 19 and be ready for pick up on December 24...
FWIW I ordered in May. My production complete date got pushed to November 12. And my delivery date got pushed from end of October to mid-December to now January 7. I think we are on the same boat.
Given all that's happened with MY21, it's a very sanguine to assume that an MY22 will come by mid-next year if you order now. Also, I'd be surprised if you scored an MY22 at MSRP. The dealer isn't incented to give you a discount on MY21 because if you cancel they can sell the car for more when...
