Here is a link to a lengthy thread about window tint. Please keep in mind that it is not the darkness of the tint that helps with the heat protection. In short if you want to tackle heat the most effective tint is a nano ceramic tint with a high ability to reject Infrared. In addition to the...
I have had the same problem. I have two remotes programmed gate and garage. On occasion homelink will continuously send a signal for the gate. Fortunately my gate doesn’t stop once it starts to open. The problem clears once I use the power off button.
It really depends on the individual. I have the 14 way seats with the massage option. I completed two 900+ mile trips without feeling any stiffness from the seats. I have had the 18 way seats in my other Porsches. They are great too. I really wanted the massage option this time.
If the car is being leased through Porsche Financial Services, one potential benefit is that Porsche typically has a lease pull forward program. In the last 12 or 6 months of the lease, Porsche will forgive the remaining payments if you want to purchase or lease another Porsche. Some of my cars...
I agree that battery temp makes a big difference (as well as low SOC). Choosing the charger from the Nav Point of Interest - Porsche Charger will start the pre-conditioning. I have found that the battery heats up the best as a result of an actual DC charging session. On a road trip with multiple...
In the past both my Porsche and Aston dealers have recommended between 50-55 psi when I have stored my fair weather cars during the Connecticut winters. They said it is how the tires are inflated during transport of the cars on the ships to the dealerships.
Robert, see post #2 in the following thread. It is a low amp battery maintainer with different settings for lithium and non lithium batteries. Do not use a high amp charger through the OBD port.
The OBD port is on the underside of the dashboard (left side)...
Before the pandemic I was going back and forth between two homes every week. Because of the pandemic I have left my car for 3-4 weeks at a time without driving it at my house in Georgia for 6 of the last 9 months. (Recently, I completed a road trip to drive the car from Georgia to Connecticut to...
I have both backless and high back booster seats. The biggest benefit for my son is that if he falls asleep the cushions on the high back give him a place for his head to rest against. It happened this afternoon on the way to an EA charger.
I have a Britax Skyline belt positioning 2-stage booster seat ($99.99) for my son. In addition, I have the Porsche Seat Protector Mat ($48.95) and the Porsche Backrest Organizer and Protector ($37.95). I bought the last two items from Suncoast, but can't find the seat protector mat on the...
Good points re: seat and media. In my Aston when you opened the door, the music volume automatically turned down to a lower level. With my Taycan I push the Park button and then push the On/Off button. I'm so accustomed to pressing the Engine On/Off buttons in my ICE vehicles that I do the same...
@TheFutre, in addition to the V1G2, I have the V1 Gen 1, Escort (windshield mounted and well as the concealed radar/laser shifters) and Radenso detectors. The V1G2 is my favorite followed by the Radenso Pro M. The Escort detectors are fine, but the way they ramp up (or lack of ramp up) from...
I agree that I would take it with a grain of salt. I am sure that my 21 inch Mission E rims have more impact than my power charge doors. on range. In the warm weather I get north of 270 miles range so I would order items again. And yes the power charge doors are pretty cool to use.
Mine has a slight lip like yours so it is not completely flush. The other parts of the boot are fairly flush to the body panels, so I don't think it's a problem.
