I have it and am glad as it makes it easy to switch drive modes. I don’t like taking my eyes off
very good point I agree too.
also the dial helps a lot I don’t like to take my eyes off the road to mess with settings especially as I’m getting used to the car.
Even though it helps find the time...
I wouldn’t change a lot. I bored everyone in my family to death asking their opinions on several different versions of the car! Very happy with the colour I chose, gentian blue. I have a blue car problem though. Other colour I’d like is metallic black, I think the car looks great in that, also...
I partially agree with this, the feeling of getting out accelerated is not good. But I will also remember I’m in a Porsche Taycan and the other driver is not and that counts for a lot. And for me whilst I like going fast, I like doing it in a car I like the look of. I don’t think any Tesla looks...
Interesting read, and makes me wonder slightly less...what if?
Reassuring and thanks for posting, although I can't help but think I still might have gone Turbo or Turbo S if I could've convinced myself to part with the extra & wait longer for the car.
My understanding is the car must be new when the company purchases it to claim the 100% first year allowances against corporation tax. On a £108k car, assuming you can't reclaim any input VAT you could put the £108k total value against your company's profits on your corporation tax return.
If...
I also thought this when I read the article. Unfortunate yes, avoidable more than likely yes.
It's one couple's experience of one occasion using the public charge network. My one experience was the opposite, better than I'd expected in fact. Not defending the network, everyone knows it needs...
My A/C didn’t work from delivery. Took me a while to decide it wasn’t user error. Took it back in & turns out the car was actually delivered to the dealer with no gas! Local dealer had to gas it, been fine since. I have PCM issues too but not like yours I think mine works slightly better, still...
We’ve got a 2 year old but no dog. Child seats fit in no problem & the amount of space in the rear is about average. 2nd child on the way and no worries about getting them both in. Not ideal for family trips though as you’ll know kids don’t travel light, would struggle to get all the...
NFU could be worth a call. I'm based in Coventry and I know I pay around a £1k premium for my postcode(!!), the total premium is about £2k. I'm guessing Surrey postcodes might be quite Taycan friendly in comparison.
We do have all our business insurance with NFU so that has probably discounted...
@bootsie I love the mk2 Golf, my favourite version and such good fun in the 16v. I know I'll have space for one some day.
Yes my Golf is a mk3, I keep the Corrado more or less standard but I've done some work to the mk3 to help make the car feel a bit less lardy. Great fun to drive even...
New to the forum. Been viewing it a lot & helped me through the wait for my order. Collected mine end of August, Gentian Blue 4S. Decided to go electric for my new company car, the tax incentives are really the reason why, I wouldn’t have considered this car within my reach otherwise.
Ashamed...
Seen a few since June, didn’t get any of the plates.
Most recent and best spot was a Dolomite Silver on the M40 heading North. Just past the Warwick junction, think it was Tuesday morning, 17th Nov. I was in my Golf R. Slowed to let it pull out in front of me mainly so I could get a good look...
