I initially thought all instances were tied/related to the connect app access during charge, hence my post 17 question.

Has the dead 12v issue occurred for anybody *not* using connect app during the charging session? Or have all known instances been examples where connect app was used at some point during the charge session?
Not apples to apples comparison though right? Taycan does not use calipers/rotors for all braking instances, only some use cases and percentage of time.
Mine has XPEL Ultimate Plus full front, and no visible seams, all wrapped edges. I believe the installers can "tweak" the factory cut pattern and extend certain sections before cutting to allow for wrapped edges and no seams.

That's good to hear. On the replacement unit, does the cable from charger to outlet indicate it's gauge has changed or is it still stamped with "10AWG"? Many believe that 10AWG cable is the main culprit for resistance/heat.
Full disclosure on the photo I posted. Those were not Taycan side by side, none were in the US at the time. The Porsche colors photographed were Carrera White and Carrera White Metallic. I thought the Carrera White looked brighter in person.
