Hi All,
So I've got the chance of getting into a Taycan (customers cancelled order) pretty much now.
The car has almost all the spec I chose...
But it has the 22kW On-board AC charger ....
I remember when initially ordering there were issues with this if you were mostly going to be charging...
@tomtom You are correct sir. I've checked site and I didn't realise ACC was included when you check innodrive.
I think I'll update my order with dealer and go innodrive rather than ACC as I really want the ALK and pricing wise hardly any difference if adding it as a feature later.
No I didn't, but then you have to spec that whether it be on demand or factory fitted for innodrive anyway? Or does innodrive include it as factory fit....I'll check...
Thank you @W1NGE & @QueenBean
So I am further confused, lol.
It seems cheaper to add them on after using feature on demand?
When speccing car:
Porsche InnoDrive + Active Lane Keeping and Intersection Assist - £2,172.00
On Demand:
InnoDrive - £759.00 One Time Payment
Active Lane Keeping -...
Very nice!
Ahh, I thought you might be local.. maybe I won't be seeing you driving around haha. I'm down the M3 junction 2.
I also was having a dumb moment, I somehow read all these posts as Guildford, but it's Reading you ordered from, hah. So I haven't ordered from the same dealer..... lol
Oh that's good. I never thought of the fact that people may not be able to take deliveries so don't want delivery early...
Wish I had some of that luck on my GTS order...
Enjoy, I'm sure I'll see you driving round the area! What colour have you gone for?
Thank you all for the responses!
This helps alot as now I understand the functions better.
Quick couple of questions, is there any downside to adding using feature on demand rather than speccing to start with? And also, how much do they charge for the features with on demand?
Hi all,
I've been trying to find information about the Lane keeping functions but the manual just confuses me.
I had a test Taycan that had the full innodrive on and I loved the way it automatically kept in lane at low speed and on motorway.
On the Taycan I have ordered I only opted for ACC...
Will keep you updated.
Also moved from being a regular customer of BMW. Now in a bloody tesla as I thought I'd get used to the electric world before my Taycan came....thought that would only be a few months......
Just would like it this year :D
I ordered my GTS Saloon on 12th March. I think was about 12th in queue, as of last month i was 3rd....
SA did say to me that they still are hoping for more allocations this year for the Saloon.....
