Hello! Just picked up my new ST 4S and it’s everything I hoped it would be, just amazing. Mostly thanks to this forum and my hundreds of hours of reading threads on how best to spec, what I needed/didn’t need etc. So thanks all, will post pics on the separate thread when I regain some energy...
I’ve just seen that one of the comparison sites (think it’s go compare?) gives you £250 of it back if you have a claim. Also worth looking at - thanks, I’ll check out the buyback cover!
I’m picking up my sport turismo 4S tomorrow (argh!) and this thread came up just as I was tediously going through insurance quotes. Nothing like planning ahead.
Best I’ve found so far is Admiral, £950. 42 year old female, no points and max ncd. But the excess is £850!
Has anyone else found that...
Exactly! You feel robbed. ? Mind you, you realise that all the mandatory stuff like good stereo, a battery, etc is automatically included so no need for so many options.
It’s amazing how any other configurator now doesn’t even feel like a configurator. You get four or five options and it doesn’t feel as though you’re doing any personalisation at all! One of my favourite parts of the whole buying experience has been the configurator. Maybe the only good part...
For Pete’s sake! Now you’ve sent me back into the deliberation spiral! My heart is with the 911, my head is taycan all the way. (The taycan is virtually half the price of the 911 if I buy it through my company.) I also live in quite a rural area with potholed roads and worry how the 911 might...
I’ve been obsessively deliberating over whether I’m getting a 911 or a sport turismo so let me tell you the taycan seems ENORMOUS in the back! ? I’ve tried the Maxi Cosi Rodifix in the back of the taycan and they fit fine. Unless you wanted a third passenger back there but tbh I think that’s...
Which leather option is this, please? Chalk beige? (Or limestone beige I think it is in the US?) It looks great. Really want a light interior but I’m going Dolomite on the outside so not sure whether it’ll look too odd!
Has anyone had a chance to compare ride height/comfort between the sport turismo (say base or 4S) and the cross turismo? Is the suspension a lot firmer on the ST? Found a relevant thread but it hasn’t been updated in a while so thought there might be some fresh info...
So this is how I feel about it. It's not that I can't park it or get down the lanes (I also drive a Q7 when I have to!), it's just that I don't find it massively enjoyable and I'm mostly getting the car for enjoyment. Damn the tax incentives, they really mess with my decision making process...
Haha thank you! The 911 is way, way shorter and about 10cm narrower so quite a fair bit. But the back “seats” are almost non existent so I’m wondering whether I’m being an absolute plonker about it all. I’ve just always wanted a 911 and I feel time slipping away in terms of my chances…
If it...
Argh I’ve been having such a dilemma with mine. I cancelled my order because I was absolutely paranoid about the size of it, every road I use around my house is really narrow and then the places I park are tiny too. I decided to go for a 911 but then I have two kids and I occasionally need to do...
