Has anyone else spoke to the dealer re getting the Porsche Mobile Charger Connect in advance of your car being delivered?
spoke to my dealer yesterday and he said it ships with the car which if fine if you are using it as a mobile charger but no good if you want it permanently mounting with the...
Apologies, only just transferred these from my camera.
A couple of more pictures from my visit to the Frankfurt motor show to keep everyone going, especially with the rumoured delays
Tayc4n
Couple of comments on your build as I went through similar thought process.
I ditched sports chrono as you get sports mode and launch control as part of the included spec so you only get sports+ which includes battery management and clock etc - so performance wise not much benefit...
Does anyone know the difference between the standard lane keeping and the one in that brochure under innodrive
"Active Lane Keeping Assist enhances the distance control and lane keeping functions on well-developed country roads and motorways. The system takes into account traffic ahead and...
Argh.... it’s proving hard to nail down this Spec.
Sat with dealer yesterday and entered into the system the above spec and then made 3 changes since I came away.....
Added the long range battery - I think stop range anxiety and will hopefully hold the price difference by having it when I sell...
Thanks both I only commute 18 miles each way to the office so I should be fine with the regular battery.
Good comments on the surround view, maybe tempted to stick it back in.
dealer has just emailed me and said the crayon interior is not available until Feb builds so April delivery, I’ll just...
Dealer contacted me yesterday and let me know that my spec can now be start to be nailed down for Jan build and pre April delivery so I need to start firming my config.
I’ve ditched the passenger screen (off when driving alone), motorised charging point cover (cost), surround view (cost) and...
Just got confirmation from a couple of U.K. Porsche centres that 4s spec can be ordered for jan build but must be delivered before end of March (April is new financial year)
I think a lot of preorders have dropped out as the price point has kicked in, along with forced options such as mobile...
Porsche may very well upgrade the rear motor back to the turbo and remove the front motor.
This would result in a 2 wheel rear drive variant but without loosing too much power from the 4s.
yep but the 911 changes the gear ratios in sports or sports+ so you get increased response/performance.
‘the Taycan is the same power regardless of the mode so does it just alter he dynamics in the suspension?
As we said the 4S was released on the 14th October, looks like a good price point.
in terms of "Regular S" model then I’m still hearing it will be towards the end of the year but more than likely into q1 now.
Porsche’s strategy is to ship the higher value models first with the largest margin...
With the 4S release imminent, I was wondering how many people plan to change their spec down from a Turbo/Turbo S to the 4S or base.
I’ve not placed my deposit yes as my dealer says that that it will be a first come first served on each model, so even if I’m top of the list or 20th on the Turbo...
