  1. Porsche Connect Ending

The problem is the pricing for Connect is premium pricing, but due to depreciation on the Taycan (mostly due to faults and the cars bad reliability reputation) they are no longer expensive cars once 3+ years old. Taking a bath on the depreciation is one thing. Having Porsche rub your face in it...
  2. Headlights Fault - Warranty Wise - Porsche Silverstone

Interesting angle to this...... After reading the initial post I wondered whether Warrantywise are FCA regulated or not? Your experience has a lot of red flags under 'Consumer Duty' legislation (my world). unfortunately they are not FCA registered. But some additional info from AI that appears...
  3. Private plate for sale T11 YCN

A great personalisation option for anyone with a Porsche Taycan. Or any woman named Yvette Christina Nordleberger who works on the till at the supermarket. Taycan owners are probably the bigger market. 😆
  4. Private plate for sale T11 YCN

    Epic.... one digit difference. 👍
  5. [opinion] - hmmm…VW/Audi/Porsche _IS_ in trouble… [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO INSULTING / POLITICALLY CHARGED POSTING]

My thoughts exactly..... And quite relieved to know the current standard of driver is not utter 5hite just in the UK! I spend half my time willing the day when the majority of utter pillocks on the road end up in self driving car. At least it will be in the correct lane and know how to...
  6. Ferrari Luce reveal

Not a problem. I'm going to wait 6 months and buy a lightly used one for £15k. 😆 Joking aside though, if they tank like everyone thinks they will, it could be an epic used purchase. I bet it drives really well and all the components are made by Ferrari - to ensure future serviceability. If...
  7. Ferrari Luce EV

They wont need to give me one. It looks simple enough, so I'm going to rattle one off on a 3D printer tomorrow morning.
  8. [opinion] - hmmm…VW/Audi/Porsche _IS_ in trouble… [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO INSULTING / POLITICALLY CHARGED POSTING]

Agree. And if they want to head down the exclusive Ferarri like model - they need to immediately bin off the higher volume lower end models (Macan / Boxster / Cayman). But they aren't going to do that are they. So that strategy is just a pipedream.
  9. In What World Does This Make Sense?

Yes, you are winning and we are also winning with our marvellous Brexit masterstroke. 🤣
  10. In What World Does This Make Sense?

Wtf is that all about?!?! The sort of form I would expect if I was buying some Uranium...... Do you have to fill one of those out if you buy some aluminium foil for cooking? Maybe ask the shop assistant where the secondary smelt occurred. 🤣
  11. Price of Oil and EV Demand (ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

Im not so sure....... A night of steaming hot sex with twin sisters might just beat it for me. Literally 🤣 ...... Although it would be The Cherry if your car was fully charged in the morning.
  12. Price of Oil and EV Demand (ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

I've had someone (diesel/anti EV) say similar through gritted teeth.
  13. Price of Oil and EV Demand (ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

I agree. I work a lot with ESG clean energy fund managers and its the same story. This is likely 'the' major pivot moment globally. People are not happy with the volatility of oil prices and are now actively looking at the alternatives.
  14. 2027 Porsche Pricing After July 4th

But don't forget today is a new day........ Tariffs may change again by lunchtime. The set quota of daily 'deals' must be met, even if it means tearing up previous 'deals' to make new 'deals'. As they say - 'a deals a deal' (until its not). 😄
  15. In What World Does This Make Sense?

Good point ........unless buyers walk away from the brand to one that doesn't treat you like you have the word MUG written on your forehead every time you walk through the dealers front door. Unfortunately, with the decision for the company to pivot to become more exclusive / profit focused...
  16. Long Term Issue & LOAN CARS!?!

Reads very much like an AI response to a 3 year old post.
  17. Porsche AG reports 1st Quarter 2026 results and 2026 forecast - article

The constant chopping and changing of Tariffs is getting tedious to say the least.
  18. Yet another electrical system error - ARB6 software in action?

Spot on. It's the sort of practice you expect from some backstreet 2nd hand car dealer. IMO Porsche seem to be in a race to the bottom with how badly they can treat Taycan customers. Calling battery manufacturing defects 'ageing' to avoid future expensive warranty claims is a new low.
  19. JayEmm shot on depreciation…

Latest headlines for Europe EV sales released yesterday (below link). And all these new owners will not be going back to ICE. Up 51% YoY in EU in March 2026. Staggering figures! It's happening...
  20. What Happens To Us After 8 Years? (When battery warranty expires)

I'll just add one more thing (whilst looking at older EV battery efficiency). Everyone forgets about ICE degradation. This is an AI comparison for a typical 10 year old / 100k miles car. Similar loss of 'efficiency' but EV performance is maintained, whilst ICE looses performance.
