well, it was finally produced; who knows if the 12V battery is in there or not, but completed production last week and is now on its way to Emden. The final delivery date to PECLA got moved up a week from 12/2 to 11/25; guess I should officially switch to the November thread
I’m curious if they are still allowing cars to leave the line without the 12V battery, given how much our cars have been delayed at this point maybe they have enough to keep the production line going again
Nope, still says it was suppose to start production last Friday….although now I see it somehow won’t be completely until 9/30. Yesterday it still said 9/16 to complete production
Im guessing they meant to push the start production back as well. No way it’s on the production line for 3 weeks
Today is also my build day! but I'm in the same position as you lol, TYD hasn't updated. What's your delivery day looking like? I got pushed to mid November and just got pushed again to early December, seems like they pushed my car back to another ship
Anyone had issues with TYD pushing out the freeze date along with all the other days when the build gets updated? My freeze date was originally mid June when I first got the allocation with a 9/30 delivery. I had my SA update the build for a few things about a month ago and that pushed the...
Great to hear you only had to wait two weeks from delivery to PECLA and your pick up...makes me feel a bit better about what I might experience in September
Thank you all for the insights. I called my SA today and told him to keep the PECLA delivery. He told me there is an option to reroute it to a dealer in either Texas or California if the wait for an appointment is too long so that at least made me feel a bit better.
Honestly, if it's a few weeks delay I will probably stick w/ the PECLA delivery. my SA was telling me it might be 2-3 months. If I don't do PECLA the east coast dealer will just end up shipping the car to me (which is more expensive vs. the PECLA delivery...) and I won't have any (even a shitty...
Couple of weeks I can do but a couple of months would be ridiculous. What was the reason they gave you for the delay? understand these guys only do 2 deliveries a day and are only open Tuesday - Saturday but given the current production delays, I figured they don't have the usual volume of...
Anyone have recent experience with PEC LA? I have a build that is getting locked in two weeks from a dealer on the east coast (I'm in SF) and I was planning on having the pickup at PEC LA vs. having the dealer ship the car to me. but they are telling me that I need to be okay with a significant...
