Ipace had an uncomfortable driving position (and it was awkward getting in and out of the car).
Skis don't fit in the Audi GT.
Audi e-tron felt weird when driving - like the steering was happening several feet in front of the car. And the response time when pressing the touch screen was...
In my case, because I bought the car, had a myriad of problems, and was researching how widespread those problems are.
There are lots of things in life to be passionate about. How I get from A to B is not one of them.
There's no recall showing my MY22 CT on either my.porsche.com or the app.
Since it's going in for a multi-day repair on Monday (front camera is still not working) I've contacted the dealership to find out whether it will be applied there.
That's not the problem.
The problem has been the miscommunication from Porsche about this and other issues.
In these threads we've seen owners report feedback from dealers that's been contradictory, and with no clarity as to what the cause is, and most importantly, when each owner can expect...
Is it "Make a car that you can get in and drive without thinking <<What's going to go wrong on this trip?>>" ?
Because with my experience so far, they've singularly failed at that.
How do their prices compare with competitors?
I looked at Chargemap in Switzerland, and it was significantly more expensive than competitors. 40+% more expensive.
I was so surprised by this I wrote to them to double check I hadn't misunderstood something:
and got the fairly generic reply:
You're right about that -- I should have been more precise.
So what are we calling "Car brakes incorrectly because it's using the wrong speed limit", if not "phantom braking"?
This ("there's no phantom braking") is emphatically not true in my MY22 CT.
It got so bad I wore a GoPro, drove to the dealership (an approx 40 minute journey) and caught 3 instances of it happening on video, including one where the car attempted to decelerate from 120 to 30 on a motorway [1]...
I just came back from a trip just south of Valencia from Switzerland.
If you can, plan the trip to hit Ionity chargers (assuming Ionity and Porsche UK have the same deal I have here), that'll be the cheapest way to charge at speed.
The Porsche charge planner doesn't let you pick particular...
Possibly related -- I had Bluetooth functionality issues on my MY22 CT (when tracks changed on the phone the PCM display would not update, so it would be showing details for the first track played, always).
I "fixed" this by enabling Developer mode on my phone, going in to the extra Bluetooth...
Since you ask, and off the top of my head:
- When using a public charger I'd like to set a target charge %, and get notified when the car hits that, so that I don't need to periodically check my phone.
- Reliably show me the charging rates and charging history
- Be a "Share" target from other...
That's a new one on me -- the dashboard map display shows one route (you can see the blue line of the route just to the far left of the display in the video), and the centre console display shows a different (and correct) route.
Escalated to Porsche, I've got a face-to-face meeting with their...
Happened three times in the space of about 30 minutes to me yesterday while stopped at traffic lights in Barcelona. Key in my pocket, no message to indicate that the key wasn't detected, the car just spontaneously shifted in to N from D while I was waiting at the lights with my foot on the...
