I have to agree with you on all these points.
.....But at the same time if we didn't want any of these things we would still have wind up windows, no AC (just open the window), basic manual seats, no power steering, etc etc. I'm not saying that would be a really bad thing; my first car, an...
It was the 2WD 911. Not a surprise it didn’t do so well in the wet. i assume they compared the 2 due to them being similar priced cars rather than a more expensive 9114S
I only chose black as I specd the pano roof to keep the light inside. I wanted a bit of the outside colour on the inside and break up the whole black thing. I like a light interior but dislike the discolouration that occurs over time (jeans colour transfer etc).
I think orange contrast sounds...
I’ve a mamba green CT4S on order, full black leather and contrast stitching in mamba. It’s not easy to find pics of that interior so I will post some when mine arrives (build due Feb 25) so del early March, hopefully.
Yes, I feel the same - but its still an interesting series.
re. The other segment re NIO car from China - a mate of mine based in China visited a NIO garage and is considering one. He was mighty impressed, especially with the battery change operation they have set up in his area… it is a very...
I just looked back. I enquired 25/9. Confirmed order 4/10 with all documents / Payment as requested. Review was within a week I am sure (I had a straight forward install). Unit arrived within a week. Install was booked for and installed on 25/10
FYI - I had mine installed by Andersen without any registration. They just wanted proof of a car on order. That was all I needed. All done very quickly. They exceeded all timescales as well, by weeks.
Ordered Car in July. Andersen in Oct. Car build date Mid Feb.
They will probably tell you they (Matrix) have to be removed if you had a previous configuration. Or it will throw an error. You can't configure them now unless they are fitted as standard (Turbo etc)
It's usually 6 weeks prior to build I am told. There is a good video (Canadian Dealer) who explains the process very well. I will look back and find a link. Its interesting.
I didn't put it (150K) on. Again, with most of my journeys being within reach of home the SA didn't say it was going to be useful. On where we are likely to travel (destination) I will pass several Ionity and other fast chargers. So it wasn't important for me. Maybe I should have included, but I...
Very good,. I dont have solar - adding them is expensive (and would be ugly on my roof) although the Andersen can do solar too. I liked the look of Andersen as its on display in the driveway
No extra cables ordered. Most of my charging will be at home (I have installed an Andersen 2 ready in place which has its own cable). The SA said in my circumstances I wouldn't need an extra cable unless at an office which only has a socket etc... On the road DC tend to have tethered cables so...
Just checking - do you mean Matrix light or PDLS+? I was under the impression PDLS+ is standard one 4S and Matrix is the one on stop. Mine is all confirmed with PDLS+
My order was placed back mid July, locked first week Jan and I got a build date completion of Feb 20th (or a little earlier I'm...
