Reading the manual, it appearrs the "inverted setting of dipped beam" should only be ticked if you're driving on the opposite side of the road. So for a UK car, driving in the UK, the tick box should be off in general?

For the reasons detailed in post #193, I don't think Goodyear or NHTSA will do much about it (the UK DVSA certainly didn't). Unless there are numerous owners who can firmly evidence they did not:

Totally agree - my rears did ~16000miles which I’m happy with, given the tread was worn down pretty evenly to the minimum (eg I got my monies worth, and am not being needlessly wasteful).
What we’re trying to avoid is ‘premature’ failure that only some people seem to get on the inner shoulders...

A short while ago I noticed the load rating of the 21" tyres (101 104) are lower than the 19" (103 108) or 20" (103 108 or 101 105). This got me looking up:
- 101 rating (front) is good for 825kg
- 104 (rear) is good for 900kg
Clearly 3,450kg is collectively high enough for the static Taycan...

Personally, if you love the car, I'd keep it as your daily - little point having it if it will sit in the garage and 80+% of your mileage is done in a second 'crappy' car.

Good guide, thanks! I'd heard removing the arm rest from the car was a pita, and can't quite figure out; does your 10 minute estimate include removing it from car, or do you recommend leaving the armrest fitted to the car whilst replacing leather top as you describe above?
I'm going to rule that out since there's always wear (externally) in a similar pattern around the shoulder, before the separation occurs. Even if it's not uniform, the wear always seems to be a precursor to the separation (eg from other tyre today):
