My guess (and nothing more) is around being a bit conservative and wanting to remain ICE like in some respects. They will always shy away from "gimmicks" (not suggesting the tesla implementation is btw).
First public go today, 50kw unit at Ikea (don't ask!) ecotricity unit, worked fine with their app. Was only a test and only pumped in at 39kw but all good! Small plus was a parking spot next to the entrance :)
Replace board with individual breakers (if haven't got them) rather than one per circuit e.g. "downstairs lights" - it will multiply the resistance and reduce trips if not eradicate them. A qualified sparky will of course diagnose it better!

Yes - all of the connect features operate ok (well mainly) and the car is available on web and app etc. LTE seems to be ok too... traffic signs, radio, weather etc and has run updates.
