Yep. Sounds about right. I was #5 with deposit starting in January '22, and after 6 months I hadn't moved a single spot in line. Of course, that was right when Felicity Ace and Ukraine started, just a month or two after placing my order.
They had actually gotten one GTS ST that was a launch...
my original order was going to be Neptune, but I saw Neptune in person, and while I think it's beautiful, I prefer the Gentian with its deep undertones and purple tinged appearance that comes out in the light.
also frozen blue is really cool but it's not for me.
my alternates would be volcano...
Have a service appointment next week for the big SW update. one of the items added to the work order they sent me via email was:
REWORK CHARGER
• WMP2 - Reworking Charging Electronics (Porsche Mobile Charger) (Workshop Campaign) Actions required: 1. Retrofit warning sticker on the charging...
Unless I missed something, sounds like they found about a 3 percent efficiency difference. That's promising. Minimal, but it's nice to see porsche putting effort in and fine tuning post-sales even for cars that are approaching 3 years old.
Had my first (and, inshallah, only) absolute nightmare EA experience at Truckee California last month, one of the original EA stations as it sits atop Donner Pass on the way down from Tahoe into the approach to the Bay Area.
to start off 2 chargers completely down including a 350kw, with the...
I get that. Personally I think both options are extremely overpriced. The Bose sound in my Turbo is...fine. For 800 dollars (a la carte) it's a no brainer, however it's not blowing your ears off, and frankly I think it's inferior to the B&O in my B9 S4, but when they have three discrete sound...
Oh fuck that, no way you should even consider giving up the allocation, take the GTS ST. those are worth weight in gold right now given the supply issues. you'll probably have zero depreciation for 1-2 years given the current order backlog.
my dealer gave me the car back because they were not able to do the software update in one day.
even if i had no knowledge of porsche's systems i can say that a software update package that takes over a day to install is not only an abysmal customer experience, it's poor engineering. full stop...
I have for sure experienced this. I'll be decelerating and the pedal basically goes to the floor when I'm braking for the final 10 mph. it's really jarring
strange complaint, but I would assume, since there's nothing to show, (since this feature is for internal power electronics), they show the charger.
at any rate, it's a borderline dumb option anyhow unless you plan to have more than 50 amps of supply in your home or office (most do not). skip...
I certainly could! interesting point, but frankly I'd prefer to stay on thicker sidewalls (even with the 275 stretch it's still the equivalent of a 38 sidewall) considering how heavy the car is and how fucking awful the roads are around here.
I investigated the stock tire options, and interestingly found that if you very slightly change the rear tire size to 275/40R20 (instead of rear 285/40R20 per spec), suddenly a whole host of new options become available that aren't offered for the stock 20in sizes
Available for (via TireRack)...
