I disconnected first then turned on the car.
The good news is, I gave the car 30 minutes, came back, and everything was normal. I took the car around the block, restarted it twice and everything was business as usual. Perhaps this was a freak thing but now my guard is up. I'm taking her up to...
Greetings all. Somber news this evening.
I got in my car, disconnected my AC charger, turned the car on and was met with the Electrical System Fault, park car error message in blood red. The car would not go into gear, and is now a very heavy, expensive, and beautiful paperweight. I'm going to...
That's awful. Fortunately I got my headlights PPF'd but I still discovered a couple of nasty dings on the headlights during the last wash. The big thing that baffles me is how easily the windshield gets banged up. I have an obscene amount of chips and scratches on my 4-month old car. The fronts...
The Ackerman effect is VERY severe on GTS with 21" wheels. I hate it. I would love to get 25kW/100 miles though....The lowest I've gotten in the GTS is 28kW/100 miles driving quite slowly.
Hilariously enough, while I made my profile while I was in Spain, I'm actually in Virginia, USA. I just can't figure out how to get that changed on my profile
I might be late to the party, but I regularly get 230-250 mi at 100%. Average temps are 40-65°F at the moment. Im not SUPER aggressive with the throttle but I drive pretty spiritedly 9 times out of 10.
I’m at about 7k miles now since December. (I’ve been driving the snot out of this car btw)
what???? I’ve NEVER gotten those kinds of numbers. Whenever I go to a 150kw it throttles down to 100kw after like 60 or so percent, then again to ~88kw after 80%. You must’ve found a cheat code.
I drive with the sound on 99% of the time. It really adds a lot to the experience in my mind. The only time I turn it off is when I’m on roadtrips on the interstate and I just want to listen to my music without any other distractions (which is great because the Taycan legitimately cocoons you...
Make sure the car allows you to log in to your Porsche account! I had to try it a couple of times before it finally signed me in.
Have the SA walk you through setting up your charging account via Porsche (not sure if you guys get complimentary charging like we do in the States) and activate...
Ahhh okay. It sounded kind of violent so I figured it was rubbing on the car itself. I’ll look into that Delorean thought and let you guys know how a DIY hovercraft goes lol
Greetings all,
I have 21” wheels and in colder temps my tires frequently rub when I’m turning out of my garage/onto the road/etc. Is there anything that can be done about this other than getting smaller wheels?
Who doesn’t like tacos? I recommend they be removed from this thread immediately.
Also late March still looks good for me pending any late-notice business travel.
Greetings all,
Has anyone using EA experienced lower charging speeds at chargers at sub 40°F temperatures? I pulled up to a 350kW charger, battery at 9% and preheated to 101° ready to go, started getting 95kW and then barely pulled 140kW for like 5 minutes while at 20% SoC. It then went right...
