It could be, but I’ve worked with ASICs (application specific integrated circuits) for a long time, and most of the time a defect in a chip doesn’t result in another function being executed but a BiT(built in test) error. Or if no Bit is available, if a part of the chip goes bad it ends up...

Just checked the NHTSA site. There are only 10 reported issues of this. I’d say a lot of people seeing the issue are not reporting it, and just relying on someone else to fix the problem for them.

Just spoke with my SA about this update. He said my car (build date 3rd March 2022) already has the update so it doesn’t apply to me. At 150miles odometer my car shifted itself into neutral and started jerking back and forth….

My TYD just updated to Port Processing complete (in JAX). But the same time it updated to complete (4/18) it bumped out the en route to dealer a week more to almost 3 weeks from now (5/06). That seems an insane amount of time to wait for a truck…. I’m only 170 miles from the port…. Anyone...

yes, mine started on Feb 22nd and ended on March 3rd. But I haven’t seen it yet. Someone in Europe, who received there car quickly, had a March 2nd end date and had the colored icons.

wow, didn’t think it was that cryptic…. Yes 02MR is the 2nd of March. Years ago GM decided it saved time to write 02MR22 instead of 03/02/22. Less digits I guess .
