Porsche's Mobile Charger charges a Tesla @ 40 amps just fine
PMC charges a Chevy Bolt @32 amps just fine - although the Porsche charger and the Bolt take over 2 minutes to begin the charging session - hmmmmm

what a dubious use of OTA - one of the only OTA updates EVER and Porsche use's it to downgrade (silently) Taycan's to max 9.6 W charge rate.

ummmmm - another case of Porsche being conservative with their specs…my 2020...
It's been my experience that while most EV's will charge at 240 volts 16, 24, 32 & 40 amps - these are well tested and work well and always match the EVSE capability to the car's requested charge rate - there are lower end plugs (amp wise) and EV behavior varies widely in this space.

there is _NO METHOD_ to "check" what a circuit can handle - the Porsche Unit and Tesla unit "imply" the correct current (volts * amps)...
EV batteries are measured in kWH (Kilowatt hours) or 1000 watt-hours - a watt hour is a unit of measure of 1000 watts of a electricity for 1 continuous hour. The Taycan will come with a 90,000 watt-hour battery - or 90 kWh battery. Charging a Taycan battery from empty requires 90,000 watt-hours...
