Ouch! Sorry for what happened to you!
It's not a deer but MassDOT has warned you :" 25% of deer accidents happen in November!" on their electric signs all over I-93 and MassPike!
The stall count and reliability is really a good point! There were several times I arrived at EA station with only one available, and anyone arriving after me would have to wait. And I hate waiting.
Oh now I remember, I actually went to an EA station which was full and there were like 4 KIA EV6...
The charging port location / NACS vs CCS1 or the access to Tesla superchargers isn't really a big issue for me at the moment. For now all superchargers in the US don't have real v4 transformers, meaning they can't output 800V DC. So max speed is like 140kw on those. which is about half the speed...
If it's at the same spot where current DC port is, the cable on Tesla superchargers is still not long enough to reach the port in most superchargers I've been to, even V4 ones which have longer cable than v3.
Hi Alex, I'm not a runner and have never participated in Boston Marathon... I know the qualification is very competitive though...
And I don't know anyone who will run the marathon next year either
Sorry I can't help
I came across EA network update for this West Lebanon location today here:
https://cloud.email.electrifyamerica.com/network-and-planned-maintenance
New Hampshire
Upcoming Station Upgrade: Unavailable beginning on the following date while legacy hardware is upgraded to the newest generation of...
A little update on this issue:
The dealer found an error code and cleared it. Obviously it was before my road trip. And nothing went wrong with my road trip.
However I was driving down to the cape yesterday and it happened again. A bit different though:
We parked the car and went to eat...
I know that EA station in West Lebanon! “Christopher” is trying really hard to make EA fix the broken charger there!
I wish EA could put in more stalls in that location. The nearby Rivian Adventure Network seems to work very well. I thought they were going to open their network to all...
When I planned for my trip, I read PlugShare comments / check-ins and scores, and I’d avoid locations with just one DCFC unless as backup…
The part of New England you often travel to (white mountains, green mountains) does lack DC charging infrastructure...
The FLO chargers I used in Canada...
I think I've seen a post here someone custom made something that can be used for towing or maybe just bike rack? I think he may or may not have a friend who can do metal fabrication
IMO towing a trailer will kill the efficiency, especially driving at highway speed - I suspect you'd be able to...
There seems to be one DCFC in Concord NH (and with 10 PlugShare score! I'm shocked)
https://www.plugshare.com/location/574764
If you can make it there, you likely just need to top off as Concord NH is only ~80 miles from Conway. Assuming you can level 2 or even level 1 charge at family's.
I haven’t been to that part of the New England. Looking at PlugShare, you’re absolutely right. Anywhere past concord NH is DC desert… I-89 from Concord NH to Lebanon NH is also bad. And the EA station in Lebanon often has long queue and one of the stalls has been broken for months. That’s a...
Nice spec! Love the color - very bold!
You are going to the opposite direction of my spec - mine is completely comfort oriented: with premium package and all driving assistance options. Yours is very performance oriented - kinda like my 992 911 carrera S which I traded for the Taycan.
It...
I actually enjoyed it a little better. Very brief but pleasant interaction with the Bolt driver who was charging at the only DC charger in the unexpected charging stop, and also grateful that she wasn’t hogging the charger.
I knew I’d need certain amount of time for charging, so I was more...
