Both the Scorpion and the PZero winter tyres are "Central European" type - they are of course not Scandinavian/Nordic type of winter tyres. Have a look at the Pirelli website and you will see they have the same classification regards winter usage.
That does not make them dangerous to use in...
I have a set of Cinturato P7 (20") on the GTS for the moment. Put them on the car by the end of summer, meaning they replaced a set of Hankook Ion 21".
I quite like the P7, but they are a bit noisy as temps go down. On my CT4 I also had a set of Michelin PS4 and I would rate them as a more...
On my third winter with the Pirelli Scorpion Winter tyres. Drives mostly along the coast line but frequent trips to the mountains of southern Norway: ice, snow, asphalt and everything in between. No issues.
Which European winter tyres you have had on your Taycan, that made it behave like no grip?
On my CT4 I went through all the approved wheel/rim combinations: 19" summers, 19" winters, 20" summers, 20" winters and 21" summers. The different sizes did really change the behaviour of the car, i.e. how it handeled and felt on the road.
My favourite combination for over-all useability and...
Had a year without any map updates in my previous CT4. Raised tickets with Porsche support but they could never figure it out. Decided to try one last thing: remove all assosiations between PCM and my iPhone, link them back together including letting the phone connect to the car's Wi-Fi.
After...
Got my first Taycan in march 2022, a CT4. Very reliable car, only issue was the heater that had to be replaced.
Drove it 57 000 km and then traded it in after exactly three years. Picket up a march 2022 GTS Sport Turismo, with 30 000 km on the clock. Has had some PCM issues with this one, but...
Visit to the Hoddevik Bay on the West coast of Norway today, great conditions and very hot weather. The road is narrow but great fun negotiating the turns.
My CT4 came with the 19" as well. I used the pressure target for "full load" and then added 0,1bar/1,45 psi in addion. Wear was very even across the tyres.
For the 20" and 21" wheels I aim for the "full load" pressures at all times.
I would absolutly order the partition net if I were to spec a new CT or ST. I used the net on many occations when hauling either lots of luggage (family trip, vacation etc.) or moving larger items. With some training it takes two minutes to install it. And it does fit beneath the floor.
A...
Pretty sure you need to specify the luggage compartment net when ordering the car. I had a CT with panoramic roof and the roof anchors - but only as I added it when buying the car new.
They have performed very well. Last summer, I drove them for about 9000 km and the average wear (measured at three points across each of the four tyres) was less than 1mm. So this bodes well for life expectancy for the tyres. I did not go abroad with the car during those 9000 km's so that means...
