I'm hoping standard silver inlays will go well with dolomite silver and offroad design rims. Was worried gloss black would be a scratch magnet.

Can anyone with the basic “black” door sill guards on the RWD comment on how they look? Are they just hard plastic inserts? I have a base CT on order, and I assume it will come with the same ones as the RWD. Considering if the aluminum ones are worth the $400 cost.

Looks really good! Heated steering wheel but no heated seats? While Scotland is toasty compared to Norway I’m not sure I could live without bum heaters. I also find adaptive cruise control very useful.

Then again, since lights and number plate is not required on North American bike carriers, there is no need for electrical connector on the car and therefor no "preparation" needed. The physical receivers on the bumper is probably available on all CTs.

Sounds very un-Porsche like to give away an option for free and not even mention it. The electrical connector needed for the lights might be difficult to retrofit later. I'm wondering if the saving Porsche can get from less copper and whatever else can be saved in a less powerful drivetrain, is outweighed by having a more complicated production line in terms of testing, development, spare part inventory etc.

Anyone know if there are hardware differences between the cross turismo 4 and 4S, or is the reduced horsepower in the 4 just done through software? The only physical difference that i can find are the red calipers on the 4S.
