  1. DC ‘fast charge’ flap cover won’t stay open

Well, fortunately, we've found it here. I've got one on order.
  2. DC ‘fast charge’ flap cover won’t stay open

Yeah, I think they don't quite realize that there's a part that fixes this.
  3. Rubber “shifter” end ripped

It can be glued, but it's not so much that you see it as feel it, even when glued (since the touch surface is ripped).
  4. Rubber “shifter” end ripped

Yeah, unfortunately, the "wear part" (the rubber end, which is what broke on mine) isn't separately listed. Bummer.
  5. Rubber “shifter” end ripped

I recently had the end of my shifter paddle - the little “razor” that comes out of the dashboard - tear. According to the dealer, this required replacing the whole shifter…which involved a lot of kind of ridiculous disassembly, etc. Anyone know if the rubber end of that is just a part that can...
  6. DC ‘fast charge’ flap cover won’t stay open

I knew someone would have the answer, but my search-fu clearly failed. I’ll get the part ordered. Thanks! There was just no way it was a $3500 full-assembly fix.
  7. DC ‘fast charge’ flap cover won’t stay open

Recently, my little DC ‘fast charge’ flap has stopped staying open - so it’s quite hard to plug in the typical cable that requires two hands to twist into place. Because it “still works”, it’s not considered a warranty issue…and replacing would require replacing the entire module, which costs...
  8. Has anyone experienced rear window catching issues

My front driver's side window sometimes catches on raise, but the rears have been fine. It's intermittent, though, and the techs haven't figured out what's doing it...yet.
  9. Taycan suddenly turned off! Message displayed, “electric system error.”

A "yellow ring" error is better than a "red ring" error - this may be something similar than a full HV repair/replacement...
  10. PCM stuck on engineering mode

Are you interacting directly with the screen or with the "pad"? Tap the "+" next to "Reboot to normal mode" direct, if you haven't...
  11. PCM stuck on engineering mode

The bottom option should allow you to exit (once expanded)...
  12. [Well known problem] - great cell signal no data - requires dealer visit to resolve

I'm sorry to say this has happened to me two or three times as well (2020 model). Each time required a dealer visit...and I'm pretty sure they had to do a "full power down" to fix it - a Connbox reset was insufficient.
  13. Dreaded Red Error to New HV Battery in 12 Days!

No doubt. Although much of that delay was waiting for the one person in the region qualified to do HV repair to actually come to the dealer.
  14. New info on sw updates

As far as I can tell, this is just an app, running on iOS via CarPlay (and perhaps also on-phone), that exposes duplicate controls...so you switch to an "app" rather than clicking the buttons that are still there, to the left, and use PCM. Is this better? It's certainly duplicative...
  15. Dreaded Red Error to New HV Battery in 12 Days!

Jeez, my repair, not replacement, took 3 months.
  16. Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires: Good or hot garbage?

I've had P4Ss on a different car, so it's quite hard to compare. The previous tires on this car were the semi-hot-garbage all-seasons it came with (which I only used as summer tires, since all-season means "no season"). They're quite quiet and I've been pleased with the way they handle, but I...
  17. Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires: Good or hot garbage?

I've got a set of these that I've been using this season and have had no issues.
  18. Another MY 2020 Turbo bites the dust

They will likely do a cell repair (or two), as they did for mine, at this point. I think if there are > 2 cells that need repairing, they replace the battery, as it becomes too difficult to balance the charge.
  19. Android Auto

Yes - both CarPlay and Android Auto tiles are there; there's also a column in Devices, and when connected, an icon in the shortcuts area of the lower center screen.
  20. Android Auto

I use Android Auto with a 2020 Taycan, wirelessly; it works just fine.
