I recently had the end of my shifter paddle - the little “razor” that comes out of the dashboard - tear. According to the dealer, this required replacing the whole shifter…which involved a lot of kind of ridiculous disassembly, etc.
Anyone know if the rubber end of that is just a part that can...
I knew someone would have the answer, but my search-fu clearly failed. I’ll get the part ordered. Thanks! There was just no way it was a $3500 full-assembly fix.
Recently, my little DC ‘fast charge’ flap has stopped staying open - so it’s quite hard to plug in the typical cable that requires two hands to twist into place.
Because it “still works”, it’s not considered a warranty issue…and replacing would require replacing the entire module, which costs...
My front driver's side window sometimes catches on raise, but the rears have been fine. It's intermittent, though, and the techs haven't figured out what's doing it...yet.
I'm sorry to say this has happened to me two or three times as well (2020 model). Each time required a dealer visit...and I'm pretty sure they had to do a "full power down" to fix it - a Connbox reset was insufficient.
As far as I can tell, this is just an app, running on iOS via CarPlay (and perhaps also on-phone), that exposes duplicate controls...so you switch to an "app" rather than clicking the buttons that are still there, to the left, and use PCM.
Is this better? It's certainly duplicative...
I've had P4Ss on a different car, so it's quite hard to compare. The previous tires on this car were the semi-hot-garbage all-seasons it came with (which I only used as summer tires, since all-season means "no season").
They're quite quiet and I've been pleased with the way they handle, but I...
They will likely do a cell repair (or two), as they did for mine, at this point. I think if there are > 2 cells that need repairing, they replace the battery, as it becomes too difficult to balance the charge.
Yes - both CarPlay and Android Auto tiles are there; there's also a column in Devices, and when connected, an icon in the shortcuts area of the lower center screen.
