Same call from my dealership cancelling my appointment that was scheduled yesterday. Rescheduled for 2 weeks from now. Hopefully they sort everything out by then.
Simple sounding but not the case. I just spoke to Porsche NA. They transferred me to AT&T who said they offer connected services for all Porsche models except Taycan. They transferred me to Verizon who said they do not provide this service for Porsche, despite what the Porsche website says...
Yes, I am aware of this, however, this option is not available for us in the US as of yet as I was told when I purchased the car. Was hoping this software update made it possible which is why I posted this thread. So far, nobody has answered this question.
I just don't want to pay the extra $10 a month for Hotspot service for my phone if I can get it in the car. The car has an embedded SIM that should make this possible and since it gets data service already without any cost to me, why shouldn't it be enabled to share data with connected phones...
After reading the Tesla forums, they seem sold on Spectra Photosync on all windows and windshield because teslas automatically turn the a/c on to regulate inside temps and it kills battery range. Highest heat rejection film on the market. Absolutely better than my other cars that have ceramic...
That's a great trade in offer. Is that number based on you trading the car in and turning over possession now? Most dealers say the trade value will be less if you wait for the new car to come in. For that number, I'd definitely pull the trigger.
The Taycan is a great vehicle with a few minor flaws. I charge at home without issue 95% of the time. I couldn't give 2 sh*ts about EA as my EA experience locally has been ok. Tesla is not in the same class as this car. The Taycan is a true PORSCHE.
If doing over, would choose only ACC without Innodrive as it is useless, black window surrounds, exterior color Taycan emblem, and would eliminate intelligent rage manager. Love everything else.
Interesting. I have had no regrets trading a near new 991.2 TTS for my Taycan 4S. It's just an everyday great car to drive. Just waiting on a GT3T when it's available.
If it were a no $ down lease, it would have a been good deal. I'd recommend buying it and negotiate at least 10% off purchase price if not closer to 15%, plus then you'll get the $7500 tax credit. My finance interest rate was 1.8% in November.
Had no interest in a Taycan while I was enjoying my 2019 991.2 TTS until one drove by me in my neighborhood and it's looks blew me away. One test drive later and it was all over for the TTS. The 4S was definitely fast enough. Simply an absolute joy to drive. Handles amazing. Performance...
This whole situation makes no sense to me. When someone has a leased car, only they or a licensed dealer can buy the car off the lease. An individual cannot buy a car owned by a leasing company whose lessee's name is currently on the lease. The original owner buying it would require taxes to be...
PCCB's are a waste of money on a car where 90% of the braking is regenerative. Base brakes or PSCB's are the way to go. Mine had MSRP of $149,500. I thought that was a little too much but did get 10% off a 2020 model on the lost in 11/20. The resale value percentage is best if options are...
3 months with 2020 4S and 4000 miles with no issues. Most rattles I hear are from contents in my door compartment, not the car itself. Sustained a double blowout at 85 mph after running over sharp metal object with no instability and no rim damage to my Mission E 21's. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CAR...
