I have the dreaded red ‘no connection’ dot in my app, but the Octopus Energy smart charge service has mapped my charging session for tonight so the connection must be working?
I had been suffering intermittently from this for the last 3 years. The dealer finally replaced the OTA module two weeks ago and it has been working since. Big job apparently - they had the car for two weeks.
Just got my car back from the dealership and they installed the WPN8 update - ”the only update available for your car sir” - and it indeed did update the PCM. I couldn’t bring myself to ask about the oil filler :)
Before buying my Turbo S I drove an Audi RS7 for three years. I had the same concerns as you, and I can honestly tell you that I missed the V8 roar for around 15 minutes after driving my Taycan. I do happen to like the Porsche electric ‘roar’ and generally have it switched on. ?
