Also speccing Burmester without noise insulating glass isn't a smart move.
Cost-wise i'm not sure that the price for Burm+Insulated glass is worth it over the Bose.
If you have already all the specs you want and that money isn't an issue go for it, it's great.
But if you have skipped nice...
I got a race oriented EV motorbike as a daily (same bike as the current season E moto GP) and had the opportunity to chat about battery with a tech from the company.
Battery wise, the most important thing is not to charge to 80 or 85 or 91%, it is to charge sometimes to 100%. The reason behind...
I thought the same when i test drove cars with and without.
Then i took delivery of my car and even if the Taycan is (a lot) bigger than my previous Model 3 Perf it behaves like a much smaller car in real life.
Parking wise, the Taycan with RWS feel closer to my 997 than a model 3 (and i can...
As you are in London, Rear wheel steering is something to consider. It really changes the way the car is driving in tight environnement (U-turn, parking lots, small streets...).
My 4S has 58k options (i know it's an overkill) but if i had to keep only one it would be RWS.
Privacy glass is a...
Yes but range calculator on the website is a "more or less" tool. It doesn't take in account "speed", "rain", or cabin temperature (some like it hot). But i agree that even if it's around 850 euros i don't think it has a major impact on range
Range mode is noticeable but not by a huge margin i think (sitting slower with aero helps) but for me AC eco or not isn't a game changer in winter but i got a heat pump so maybe that's another story if it is not specced . We need some Taycan's experts insights about the heatpump gain ;)
Taycan saloon 4S battery + on 21 wheels.
I just made a roadtrip last weekend: i get around 320km of highway range at 140-150 km/h with 7°C outside, a little rain sometimes, AC on eco, lights on, range mode (capped at 150 to save my driving licence) so ou should be good for 300+
On top of personnal préférences, there's one must have options that is missing which is rear wheels steering.
It's not just a performance options but more a quality of life improvement as it makes the (huge) Taycan behave like a much smaller car and helps a lot in tight areas (parking lots...
Adaptative cruise control isn't bad and if you spec it you will have the mandatory sensors to spec later (FOD) innodrive (PID) and active lake keeping (ALK)
Are ALK et PID must have? Depends if you travel a lot.
Is it smart to spec ACC "just in case"? Yes because even if you don't plan to use...
One of the main issue with water and ICE is when water get inside the exhaust and make the engine stall. No exhaust = no stall.
I tested it on a EV sport motorbike that crossed a mini-lake better than my GS :CWL:
(and i didn't get electrocuted ;))
ORDP is looking plasticy unless you choose volcano grey. In this case, i think it looks quite good as it merge more into the look.
As others said Rear Axle steering is probably one of the best (if not the best) option for a Taycan.
So does Pano roof as your interior will be very dark without...
