I was amazed when I got 20k it of my PS 4s.
I did not use on the track, bit loads of late night cross country journeys and they never let me down. Only started to go off at 19500.
New 4SCT has non sport 4s and although they are markedly quieter, they just don’t give as much confidence.
Would be...
505 911s at the same time, with Taycan outselling 911, so I think they will be fine.
Have to say though, I am amazed that after 24 months, 20000 miles and the original front tyres, I only lost £12k on my 4S. Even so, have gone PCP on my CT4S - for a bit of interest, Porsche take the risk and I...
I don't feel so bad now.
At the end of November I chopped in my 4S for a new CT 4S. Both with 20” wheels.
I was getting 250-260 miles constantly with the 4S.
For the last 10 days we have not seen a day with temperatures above freezing and having parked the CT outside all night in -5 degrees, got...
For longer road trips I normally use Ionity. The discount makes a lot of difference and they are rarely full. Could be due to high price for non discount users. Plug and charge now works seamlessly too.
I have recently received an Electric Universe card however. This allows one tap with most...
I have had a Macan S and a Macan T as loaners over the last 9 months.
The S was quick for a lump on stilts and the T was very interesting above 4k revs, it also handles with more subtlety.
However both were seriously boring next to my 4S.
And the mishmash of LED readouts in the last century...
Hi Foxy
I have owned a 4S with larger battery since Dec 20. Covered 19000 miles and from my home in Buckinghamshire have travelled to Newcastle, the Lake District, Lands End and many other long trips.
I added every charging option available because it was my first EV.
I have an Andersen...
I did not order Comfort Access on my Dec 2020 4S, but it appeared just for the doors about 2 months ago, I assume after an OTA update.
Has now disappeared.
I locked in early Aug for end Oct delivery (maybe). CT4S. Was told that roof rails especially black were in very short supply and that black could only be specified to end of Aug.
Comfort adjustment for steering wheel when entering or exiting no longer available, with small price drop...
Until I got my 4S I had Audis for as far back as I can remember, but now I never want to be without a Porsche in my life.
I do really miss the space and have a 4SCT due in November to help with this (although there is not much more in the CT) but as someone else has said, the RS6 is more point...
Dabs I appreyyour point and certainly don’t expect 2%, but by the beginning of 2024 the current inflationary pressures of massive increases in energy costs and the fact we will either be in or cookout if a recession, technical or otherwise, mean that inflation will be lower.
Mortgage interest...
B61 I am sorry, but you are plain wrong. Even the Bank of England is predicting inflation back down to 2% in 2024.
As for ICE BMW vs Taycan, no matter what the finance costs, the overall cost of ownership to a UK company owner/director will be significantly less. If you buy the BMW through the...
4S delivered Dec 2020. Order for CT4S signed with £5k deposit June 2021. Locked in spec 2 weeks ago for early Nov delivery.
The dealership was apparently allocating as per order date.
We did have a bit of an issue though because there is a shortage of roof rails, especially black, but it was OK...
I use A Plan premier in High Wycombe. Car on corporate PCP through Porsche. Insurer for the last 2 years has been unphased who is named on the V5. Just under £1000pa each year for 4S, 15 k miles, full business use and a sensible excess. Also this year I am fully comp to drive any car.
Always...
