If you haven’t already tried, you might try disconnecting the 12V battery for 5 minutes and this will rest most of your electronics. That worked for me when I had a humming sound behind the steering wheel followed by my HUD disappearing. Just disconnect the negative ground on battery in the frunk.

I would repair that chip. I had a 2 foot long crack in mine last April and it took 2 months to get a new windshield. Plus all the magic technology had to be reprogrammed that was associated with the windshield. This was a pain to get it all done.

For me it was just a sticker! The technician just wanted to make sure I new how to run the charger at 50% or 20 amps!

I didn’t do anything different, I just had the time to check all my personal settings and spent some time hunting for things like radio favorites and made a test drive to check saved lift locations and things like homelink. I then went back to EA and Plug&Charge worked normally.

In 13 months of ownership my 2021 4S has been trouble free. The only service has been for updates , front windshield because of rock crack , and one flat tire due to nail! This is my 8th Porsche and each one has been an upgrade in performance and styling! The Taycan has continued to raise that bar!
