As much as I’m sure we all appreciate these posts why is it you can get to the current schedule when the links to the PWL site always return the 7th week? Do you have a back door you would be willing to share or do you have a login to get into active tracking? Inquiring minds want to know ?
The app / site has been spotty for me too. The tracking seems to be as accurate as what the dealers see on their system, the two times I’ve checked with the dealer their list of actual dates matched and the apps projected dates match the systems expected dates.
What frustrates me are the...
Over the decades Porsches of all types depreciated as much, and in many instances, more than the market average. From 1978, when I bought my first used Porsche, through about 2005 when I sold my 12th, 2 to 4 year old Porsche sports cars could be had for no more than .70 cents on the dollar...
Just use the default profile and set minimum charge to 85%, problem solved.
It’s confusing because you think minimum not maximum but that’s where it stops unless you have a location profile where you define when it can charge. A location profile without a timer will charge to 100% so to stop...
A lot of that depends where you live. Here in the US, outside of the California, tax and “running costs” aren’t going to change significantly for the next decade or more. I feel sorry for those who have to suffer the idiotic mandates the UK and EU are dictating. Hopefully sanity will prevail but...
Regen (recuperation) has nothing to do with converting friction and heat from the braking system into electricity. Regenerative braking is achieved by the car turning the electic motors into generators when you lift off the accelerator or step on the brake. The generators require force to...
I spoke with my SA and he says all remaining MY23 allocations are assigned (at his dealership) meaning a commission number is assigned so pricing is locked. I believe they were told in advance to make sure they placed all orders against allocation before the 30th to ensure the pricing was...
It’s not that you can’t trust them, it’s that most aren’t specialists in paint correction so what you get is pretty much the same as the Toyota dealer next door for a Camry, a quick polish and wax that fills the swirls so it appears smooth but in short order the swirls and paint imperfections...
Technically I’m the same, production was supposed to start on 3/17 but I’m still in step 3. My boat ride is shorter though hence the projected April delivery, which we all know will never happen.
My dealer stopped waiting lists a year ago and being a repeat customer we decided we wanted a 4SCT in December, they had allocations, we chose a March build. The car should start build Monday, scheduled to be hear late April (not holding my breath). $5000 deposit to secure allocation, MSRP...
The prevailing understanding is any charger rated at more the 50kw supports the 800v architecture in North America but that’s only true on the major networks like EA, EVGO, Chargepoint, etc. It’s a crap shoot if you’re in an area not served by one of these. Some say it’s a waste, all chargers...
