The ship delivering my Taycan is aesthetically unappealing and has a sissy-sounding name.

My Taycan 4S is on the same ship. Evidently after your car is unloaded, the Viking Queen will make its next stop at the Port of Benicia, CA on May 14. From there it will take 35 days more to be en route to my dealer, and another week to arrive at my dealer. Cheers

Porsche Taycan in the Texas Winter Storm

Thanks for sharing your experience. It is a good reminder that the Taycan has a lot of energy storage. I am glad to see that you were able to use a small amount of energy to both recharge your smartphone and activate the cabin heater for warmth and survival.

Global Semiconductor Shortage Affecting Production Porsche Chief Says

I also have my fingers crossed that my late May delivery date won't be delayed. I am curious, does the Taycan have more microelectronic chips in it than a 911? Cheers!

    .1L Roadtrip Recap

Thank you for the update. It is good to read that the Apps and charging infrastructure are improving. I am curious, is it possible to hook up a pair of L1 chargers on both sides of a Taycan? Of course one would need to have two charging setups, but we do have two charge points. It might be...

    Members Say Hello Here!

Hi Everyone: I just placed my order for a 4S. The estimated arrival at my Dealer is May 28. I debated holding off to wait for more bugs to be worked out and the US nation-wide DC fast charging infrastructure to continue to build out. In addition, I live 200 miles from my dealer, but I have to...

    Moving from a 911 to a Taycan?

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum, and I just placed an order for a Taycan 4S. I have had the luxury of two very different 911 experiences: 1982 911SC, and 2014 991.1 C2S/MT. After much internal debate I decided to let go of the 911SC to make room for the Taycan 4S. I think of the 911SC as...

Mark, Vim, and Peter: Thanks for correcting my input. Still a newbie here. My Taycan 4S is on order. Cheers!

    Taycan 4s Dyno Results

Hi Ed: Thank you for sharing this video. The chassis dyno run were definitely worth the wait, but I was also very impressed to see how smooth and clean the bottom of the Taycan is. The factory zip ties were also a hoot! I assume that in addition to protecting the rear suspension arms, they...

    Blocking front wheel arch vents

I read somewhere that these open vents have a measurable impact on the drag. Which translates to increased range. The 19 inch base wheels are also more aerodynamic than the 20 or 21 inch wheels. Cheers!
