Moving over here as well from the September November December thread... 510 days waiting so far, what's a few more weeks? Actual dates for events which have already happened are below. It's stuck at the port in San Diego waiting for the Burmester amp according to the dealership. TYD claims 1/20...
My car arrived at the port in San Diego on the 21st. At the time nothing on the dealership’s end indicated it would be held at the port but as of today it’s on hold; waiting for a Burmester amp. Other Taycans (both 2022 and 2023) on the Glovis Clipper already made it to the dealership in SD...
My car was on the Glovis Clipper, and unloaded in San Diego.
TYD was showing delivery to the dealership would happen this Friday the 23rd, but updated early today to Jan 20, which is a Friday four weeks out. Probably (I hope) a fake estimate. At the time it also didn't say my car was unloaded...
I happened to stop by the dealership today and they had a Taycan on the lot with speed blue stitching and seat centers. I snapped a photo through the closed window, so not the best quality but maybe useful to see.
My name is also Kevin and I also opted for the Speed Blue stitching on my Taycan, but it didn't make it on the final build for whatever reason. I was never given an explanation and it's the only option that didn't make it from my original order. I'm still waiting for delivery to see if anything...
I have Burmester on my Turbo sedan order which is also headed to San Diego for what it's worth. No indication from the dealership that any parts are missing. Dates for everything that has happened so far:
08/11/21 - Order Requested at Dealership
03/13/22 - Order Allocation
03/14/22 - Order...
TYD did the same for me over the weekend. The "On Vessel" date is now 12/02 and delivery date is 01/06 to San Diego. Mine has been at the Emden port since 9/26.
Same for mine. TYD shows "On Vessel" date for today with delivery to San Diego on 12/23. I'm hoping it just is pushed out to next week and I get on that vessel.
Mine was completed on 07/27/22 according to TYD. I haven't spoken with the dealership for several months about it. I'll probably get in contact with them once TYD claims my car is on a vessel and provides the name to me.
Moving over here from the September thread... Taycan Turbo sedan destined for San Diego.

Mine didn't make it on the Glovis Sun either. TYD claims it'll be on a vessel 10/14/22, but I don't know what boat lines up with that day which has a stop in San Diego. I'm hoping it'll be on the Glovis Sigma, and that I'll actually have it in December sometime. (I'm assuming I'll be affected by...
No changes to my 2022 Taycan's status, it's in that same warehouse as most of ours, and still has an ETA in December... but I did receive an e-mail from Porsche with my future VIN number letting me know that there's an "Important free Software Update Now Available at Your Porsche Dealer" and I...
