I noticed on the Porsche website that Porsche offers insurance in Oregon, Illinois and Georgia but not here in California. Does anyone on this forum who reside in those aforementioned states have any experience or comment regarding Porsche’s insurance in terms of rates and coverage?
While this isn't Taycan specific (it is prominently mentioned) this is a terrific overview of the cars we all truly love:

I've read in this forum about the fact that Porsche is shipping Taycans to the US without the TPMS system installed and then installing them at the ports of entry. My question is for those who experienced this clustef***k: what was your time from the day your car hit port to the installation...

From the article:
“Porsche Taycan's fast charging characteristic is - as expected - very good. It has a high peak value, good curve, and despite the lower efficiency of the car, it can basically match the range replenishing rate of the Tesla Model 3 (in 20-80% SOC window).”...
I currently have installed in my garage a v.2 Tesla Wall Charger pulling 64 AMPs from my panel, and it currently charges my soon-to-be-gone Tesla 85D to 85% from about 15% in about 4 hours. I also bought the TeslaTap 60AMP adapter, thinking that it would be cheaper to use that than to have an...

An excerpt: “The 4S' handling sets it apart, with an immediacy to its steering and braking, paired with a well-sorted air suspension that is everyday-livable, yet capable of making the most out of every corner. It doesn't even take nine-tenths handling to figure out how special the 4S feels...”...
From the article:
“Gruner says digital products both inside and outside the car will actually enhance the driving experience for Porsche’s cadre of loyal enthusiasts, including those hesitant to accept new vehicles such as the Taycan and other EVs, which can sometimes seem more like appliances...
For us newbies who are either awaiting delivery or just took delivery of our Taycans, this is a terrific tutorial of the various drive modes available for the Taycan.
This morning I went to check on the status of my 4S which (fortunately) just finished production prior to shipping and was greeted with this on my Track Your Dream page. Hopefully, this will be a short-termed delay.
Porsche is not specifically called out here, but I wonder how this clusterf**k in the Suez Canal is going to affect Porsche's production schedule.
"The blockage could also cause delays in the delivery of parts and materials used in the production of cars, motors and batteries. That could...
For those of you who already are enjoying your Taycan this video will make you smile and appreciate what you have. For those of us who haven't yet taken delivery, this video will amp up your excitement, cause excessive drooling and increase the anxiety of the wait.
This link is probably a bit redundant to some as you may already be aware of this, but I've found these tutorials to be immensely informative and helpful.
