I am unsure but presume you needed to have something more than active lane to make it work properly. Will probably need enhanced radar/camera.
Just had a quick look at configurator and suspect it is adaptive cruise control that unlocks it all.
Imagine my excitement when the porsche connect email landed, personalised with my car details and offer to use above for 3 months (£18 thereafter). Now, I basically knew that my car (4s) probably did not have the base hardware to support this but it did get my hopes up. Logged in and there you...
The My Vehicles section of the Porsche connect web site should provide you with all the info - we don't get that yet in the UK (or didn't when I ordered).
I suspect that is your dealer being a bit difficult, mine took a month or so to go to v250 (from memory) but I believe the US can actually track orders now? Have you got a Porsche account etc?
As above really, quite a nuisance. So you get in car (a MY21 post update 4S) and quite often the PCM won't auto reconnect phone although it know's it's there and set to connect. You have to force bt on devices and 9/10 same with Carplay which usually takes up to 12 attempts! It's an Iphone 12...
Nice trip up to north-east yesterday, rolled into Ionity at Leeds and worked perfectly, topped up in Sunderland at "FastNED" whom had excellent value PAYG 350KW chargers. Seemless charging tbh, really good and wow, the speed on those chargers!
Ditto but letter only references Charging, Chassis and what seem minor fixes to digital cockpit and PCM. Not sure it's the "big" update? I am MY2021 though
Just received "recall" letter for software update at dealers.. letter states update to:
Charging (may be 12v related?!)
Chassis and drive comfort
PCM/Digital cockpit fixes
Booked it in... dealer has done several already...
