No pre heat/cooling. (how do you heat the batteries?)
I've turned the A/C off and done the journey in reverse and hardly touching the accelerator.
It's now mid 40s.
Temperature is around 65 outside.
My tyre pressures are 2.7 Bar on 21" wheels. What's everyone else running at ?
I was going to ask about that. I'm sure it makes no difference to the kwh per 100 miles which size battery I have.
I've attached my dash after a few miles on a slow road this morning. Seems really high to me. I'd be interested to see other people's examples. I don't think I've ever seen it below...
That's way better than I can get (I assume you mean 34kwh). I have those wheels too.
Maybe I need to run the battery down a few times or even run it down to whatever the safety mode is called. I never really let it drop low.
I've read a few articles about 200 miles plus range and your post is interesting. I'm not even getting 190 miles. I'm getting 50 kwh per 100 miles at 60 mph in range mode. No where near your 31.8.
What does yours indicate when full? Mine shows 188 miles. Its the 79kwh battery if that makes...
I agree.
I've used 5 chargers today. 3 didn't work at all. One started and was really quick but then all the chanrgers lost power after 5 minutes.
There's a great one qt Milton Keynes coachway and also Banbury behind Costa.
I agree. Zapmap makes the experience less stressful. I used an installation one yesterday. Was the easiest and best I found yet. Ionity very problematic but at least you can phone them in the evening unlike ecotricity.
I have now too. Although they do mainly seem to be 7.2Kw chargers. Hopefully that will improve.
I found a decent one in a Morrisons car park in Birmingham. Still had to phone them to get it to work, but they were good. Of course, it wasn't listed on the Sat nav.
Porsche have ruined what is a great driving experience by not investing in charging facilities. I am parked next to a shell recharge and it does show on the sat nav. The ones that do show don't tell you the speed and mostly are owned by restaurants for customers only. Having to drive 20 or so...
I had a real game with Ionity. I spent an hour on the phone to them trying to get a charger to work. They charged my card 4 times which then alerted the bank fraud department and my cards got cancelled ! And although it was a 150KW charger it only worked at 50kw and I might have well used the...
I'm interested to know why you'd need to take the charger with you? I'm expecting my Taycan (uk) next week and have got the extra housing plus a second one for the office. Wouldn't you just plug the charging cable into a commercial charger somewhere?
Thanks
Andy
