I got one by emailing
[email protected]
they then sent me a PDF. It does not specify the year but it does have the heads up display in it so I guess that is for 2021
Agree --it was on the 2020 I tested but I 'm a cheap SOB and was trying to save the $1320. I'l add it. Ordering the car today.
Anybody out there want to buy a gorgeous 2017 Tesla S100D? With the new MCU2?
I tested ABRP and find it worthless. We have a home in the mountains of Arizona, a 200 mile drive involving 6400 feet of vertical climb we make regularly. My 330 mile range range Tesla S100D makes it easily. I tried it last weekend in A 2020 Taycan Turbo and drove AT exactly the same speeds as...
I DID ask and the Taycan does not have it. supposedly when you approach the garage or HOA gate your list of homelinks pops up and you have to touch the one you want to activate. I tested it on my loaner and it only worked intermittently.
As for your “good reason”, on the Tesla while the car...
Some truth to that! Although how it drives and how it looks are two different things... and the functionality of the huge MS touch screen is absolutely phenomenal. The entire GUI is very intuitive - the 4S is poorly designed and complex. And the Tesla is years ahead with over the air...
I have an update to my question. My dealer lent me a used 2020 Turbo to make the drive. and prove range. This car absolutely knocks it out of the park on range.
I drove 5-9 mph over the limit the entire way, exactly as I drive my S100D, in Range Mode. About half the trip was at 70-75 mph...
A Better Route Planner turns the 3 hour MS drive into a 5 -1/2 hour drive with a detour for a 40 minute charge and limits my speed to 55 for the last 3 hr 20 minutes. But it also adds an hour to the MS trip, takes the same detour and a charge stop. So BRP generates pure rubbish.
After 7-1/2 year of driving Model S's I'm ready for something else. Test drove a 93Kw 4S today and loved it. In terms of fit, finish, handling, and overall quality it is in another league than Tesla. My issue is range. We have a second home 195 miles away and we drive back and forth to...
