Agree with MetallicBkue on the option on black window surrounds and modelname.
The interior colour is near white - its a “no jeans” colour.
Could consider the Porsche logo on headrest in sted of “Turbo” lettering.
Nice build!
Well spotted - I actually didn’t know of the “GT5” option - “Accent package darksilver”.
I checked the build on the car its the former press car “S-GO 142E” From the european launch and you are correct.
Does anyone have pictures of the standard black accents?
Totally agree - I’m sticking with red calibers, they are not that visible after all due to the 20” splitspoke wheel design.
Anyway back when the Boxster was launched the Black calibers were the standard and the Red were the upgrade option (on the Boxster S). Now we pay more to have Black in...
I was considering the brake upgrade for my build on the 4S. According to Porsche the regenbraking (up to 265kW) is expected to handle 90% of all braking.. why the upgrade then? Well for me it was due to the coating on the upgraded set which is more ressistant to corrossion. But here is a plot...
My dealer was raving about the neodyme option. I stayed with the standard (black) and haven't regretted. Took some photos of both for you guys to check out.
edit: Take note the “black” accents are not standard but the GT5 option - Accent package Darksilver!!
Took a couple of photos of the standard paint option on the side view mirrors (the blue) and the upgraded option with black paint etc (the white). I expect to change my build to have the black window surrounds after seeing both options today, but that makes the upgraded mirror an option I have...
Talked to Porsche Denmarks Taycan specialist who informed me that 22kW charger on-board will be an option from the 2021 production (starts june 2020). Price is expected to be around 10.000 DKK which corrected for taxes etc should be around 1.000 USD.
Dont know if the Connect Charger which comes...
Agree - did the same on my build. Anyway I was at the Porsche Denmark launch today in Copenhagen, and took these pictures of the smokingpackage. It's basically just inserted into the cupholder, and can be easily removed..
Well - if you drive it (Turbo) fast most test show an awg consumption around 27-30 kWh/100 km and normal driving should return around 21-22 kWh/100 km. This during favourable climatic conditions. Wintertime normally cuts of around 30% range. I still haven’t seen what an eco-based drive will...
wow - great build!
colours are personal choices. Regarding the interior i note that Porsche press cars all seem to have the Frozen blue in combination with a black interior. I like the slate grey in combination with dark blue etc - but hey its personal.
Regarding the exterior - I would...
..or an option to buy the car. I have 3 kids - we rarely travel together in my car - but we had a similar +1 seat in a BMW GranCoupe and it was perfectly doable for the kids. Anyway if they are in the back of a Porsche, the right to enjoy the ride and not to speak applies..
More on the warranty..
They (Porsche) have the right to make partial repairs or exchange the whole battery pack to make sure the promised capacity can be accieved! If the maximum charge after the 3 years is 65% of the original capacity, they are entitled to make substitutions or repairs on the...
