  1. New Car Specification - Best options for a 4S ST (Active Ride?)

Personally I would recommend HUD which I position very low so that I only see the MPH — and also can see NAV direction indicators when using the Porsche NAV. I also adjust the brightness so it isn’t too bright so as not to be distracting. After tweaking the HUD this way I wouldn’t be without as...
  2. GTS Ride Quality with or without Active Ride

Let me add that if one is going to compare 2 different Taycans that the only way to do it scientifically is to use the same wheels and tires. Tires especially make a big difference on any car. You can clearly feel a difference in the same car by changing to a different tire model. I myself have...
  3. Not a D*m Issue!

2023 RWD at 26,000 miles is absolutely the best all around car for real world driving I’ve ever owned. Incredibly solidly built and not a single rattle. Only criticism is excessive highway tire noise with either 19” and 20” wheels even though my spec includes the optional noise insulating...

  5. Prospective New Member - some queries

There are a lot of deer in New England so I’m glad I have the Night Vision option on my Taycan.
  6. Prospective New Member - some queries

I would recommend sitting in both the 14-way and the 18-way seats first before purchasing to see which you prefer. Some people prefer the 14-way to the 18-way for example. Seats choice is very important from my perspective!
  7. What do you want from the next gen Taycan?

Less wide - (Panamera EV for those who want a larger wide car) Less weight Shorter front overhang Manual charge door standard again Physical knobs on console Less road noise, especially on highway - maybe even make a super quiet option available Quieter blinkers Quieter Rear trunk beeper...
  8. My lease deal on a '25 4S

Congratulations! Can you share your spec? Also was your lease deal only because it was in stock? Or could you have ordered a specific spec to be built and delivered in a few months for that kind of money?
  9. Bent Wheel

To OP: I‘m like to know if your W+T insurance is through Porsche?
  10. Would you buy your Taycan again?

Taycan RWD, 02/2023 17K miles only real problem was heater replaced under warranty 100% no regrets
  11. Excessive tyre wear.

What suspension setting do you normally use? Are you normally keeping it low?
  12. 2025 Taycan J1.2 long(ish) roadtrips report

Are you using 20" wheels with Michelin PS4S or Michelin PS4 NF0 tires? Also would you say ActiveRide is noticeably quieter at highway speeds as well as on broken pavement?
  13. Best Winter Tyres for Taycan?

    I have Nokian R5 on 20” wheels: https://na.nokiantyres.com/tires/by-tire-size/snow-winter-tires/245-45-20/ https://na.nokiantyres.com/tires/by-tire-size/snow-winter-tires/285-40-20/

  16. Need you help : which one should I buy ? Cast your vote

Well you could try an offer for the RWD at 56% at the original price and see if that would be accepted.
  17. Help me decide. Family Matters: M5 Touring vs CT Turbo vs RS6 Avant

Personally having driven an RS6 I prefer the Taycan. Another alternative is the new version of the Panamera available as a PHEV. Eventually there will be a Panamera EV but that‘s in the distant future.
  18. 2025 Taycan 4S Boston > NJ range results

What size and make/model tires came on your 2025? And what size and make/model tires (and if you recall the ending tire mileage when you traded it) were on your 21 2S? Would you say that your 25 4S w/Active Ride is noticeably quieter on the highway than your 21 4S?
  19. 2025 Taycan 4S Boston > NJ range results

What would you say about Active Ride? Are you glad you specced it?
  20. If you could change ONE THING about your Taycan....

Better noise isolation at highway speeds, especially over rough pavement. If they wish to make more money, Porsche could make it an option and charge more for it. Honestly adding 100-200 lbs or so of noise isolation material wouldn’t be that noticeable on a 5000 lb car.
