You can have it coded with PIWIS. Eventually I will be doing this myself. You'll either have to find someone with a programmer or buy one yourself, and then figure out the codes that activate it.
Similar to what you have there. Likely the same mfg. The one I got from the Poshmark seller (a brushed silver color) was also the same just without the replacement Porsche gasket and nuts.
Edit: added some photos. Despite the thickness and slight curve the fit is perfect. I actually prefer...
Changing the port is a matter of plastic mouldings and some different electrical connections. The real hurdle is the software and systems that communicate with the Tesla superchargers. Superchargers also don't have card payment options at the station (looks like the V4 might be the first to...
Yup, love my Wallbox, they support power sharing natively too. IMO the Wallbox has the best form factor, I don't like that most EVSE have the "dock" integrated into the unit. No NACS built in, but I suspect plenty of J-1772 to NACS adapters will flood the market when everyone starts switching...
Taiwan number 1! (Saw the flag on your profile)
I'm interested in the two mods you had coded. Did you do that yourself or did you find a shop that can do it?
I had a P90DL and the Taycan gets much better real world range. I can consistently get "250 miles" where I struggled to get "200 miles" in the Tesla. Tesla over estimates, Porsche underestimates. I put it in quotes because I never actually ran the battery from 100% - 0%, but seeing the...
I contacted their support for the large black square in the wire and this video (see attached) is what they sent me as a reply.
The wires should be exiting like the picture below, from the side not the bottom.
I know this is an old thread but I just did this mod. I found that it was much easier to turn the wheel the same direction as the marker you are removing. You can fit pretty much anything in the wheel well in this position (first pic with orange marker).
Picked up this new to me Taycan Turbo today. Traded in a 2023 Genesis GV60, the yellow one in the pic.
Wasn't sure about the Race-Tex but after seeing it in person I do like it a lot.
Need to take it to a Porsche dealer to get the PCM updated for Android Auto and so I can sign in with my...
