I was in the same position as you in 2022 - my first 4S CT was eventually replaced with a new similar model in March 23 - far fewer problems for 18 months but now have rattles from rear and unable to use for a month when alarm went off and remote key didn’t work . This happened twice- Porsche...

My advice for that money would be to try to go a couple of years newer. For my 2p the 4S is more than adequate- also CT or ST are more practical imho. Good luck!

Thanks - My vehicle was left 12 days ago with 47% charge and had travelled 90 miles before parking so I assume 12v battery was fully charged.

We’ve been in India for 12 days and left 23 Taycan 4SCT with family in Hampshire- Alarm went off - key would not open car - Porsche Tech arrived and said it was because car hadn’t been used. 10 days?? We left for 3 weeks in summer with no issues- sounds like BS - any thoughts?

I wouldn’t run a car like this Electric or ICE without a warranty- far to risky!

I thought the chassis number told you the model year - think RS is 25 PS 24 etc

I had Goodyear on my first one 21 in lasted well - second had Pirelli P Zero which barely lasted 11k miles so replaced with Goodyear - very much happier!! All proper Porsche spec or your Insurance could be null and void if making a claim . OEM - always.

These drain checks appear to be fairly simple, certainly not £200+ per hour x 3 hours + VAT . What’s the risk? Is it a diy job with photo evidence? Can a non OPC do it at a third of the cost?
