Hello all, I've just received my allocation for a RWD so I'll be locking spec fairly shortly, but that's gotten me thinking about how to finance the car...
Unlike what I perceive to be a majority of owners on this forum, I am not buying the car as a company car, but purely as a personal asset...
Yeah - totally this! If you ever regret not getting it... Suppose there's always eBay!
On the other hand, 12 months for a build slot? Sad times... Hopefully the Feb '23 delivery estimate holds!
My SA just informed me that I have been put down for an allocation in February 2023... I placed my order early August just past - does this mean their allocations for this year are gone?
Oh, I've ordered an RWD.
Hello! Missed this post when I posted a new thread previously...
Got a Frozen Blue RWD on order from start of this month, so a long 12 - 18 month wait so I've been told! Still milling over whether to opt for Sport Turismo or saloon, as I think the Mamba Green looks better on the ST!
I'm sorry I don't understand when you say that the option to not take the PB+ doesn't exist? Do you mean that in the way that it's a "must" have because of resale values?
Do you have PB+ or is it the standard battery? I'm really on the fence with the whole PB+ or not at the moment, as £4k could be a few other options for me!
Ah I see... I've a RWD on order so hopefully 12 months still good! Would a change to an ST affect anything? I've been drifting between the two body types lately and I still can't make my mind up!!
Okay so the dealer just reported on the queue status... Apparently there another 12 in front of me, does anyone have any idea what that means in terms of queue time? Obviously hoping 12 months is still viable!
Very nice spec! I am also considering swapping the bigger battery, although I've not driven one that hasn't had it - do you think the driving feel changes much? £4k for that seems to be a huge option, but I've also read on here it will make sense when I come to resell it in a few years (maybe)...
Those look pretty sick, are they the standard 4S wheels? If not, I don't think I've seen this option on the UK configurator.
Yeah I've seen the Vossen ones here too - there's a stockist near here, they look really nice! Seen a set of satin bronze ones on a FBM on the Vossen website too and they...
Very nice! What wheels are you waiting for? I've specced the standard wheels but I'm not sure if I could drop £1.5k on the 20s... Thinking aftermarket too, but those are even more exoensive!
I am on the fence with Crayon to be honest, it looks amazing in the photos but I don't know if I could live with having such a lovely car with a subdued colour choice... Not a criticism of those who choose black/grey/white/beige for the Taycan, but just my opinion.
Also, I'm in my early 30s so...
I test drove a Mamba and I liked it, but I've seen photos of the Frozen Blue and it looks really special... I was parked at Ikea not long ago in my grey 5 series and I swear it took me longer than it should have to find my car... I feel like Frozen Blue will be easier to find...!!
Hey everyone - just placed an order today and told looking at August 2023, but probably more like 12 - 18 months... Looking at everyone's posts, it seems that production speeds/capacities may be getting a bit better? Could just be wishful thinking on my part I guess...
Hi everyone, I just placed an order for my very first Porsche - a Taycan RWD in Frozen Blue!
Exciting times ahead - lead times are apparently 12 - 18 months, so I'm getting ready for the longest year ever... You can bet that I'll be sitting on this forum everyday!
Nice to meet you all!
