That means driving the car hard. People would do it to burn up carbon build up inside the engine. On a combustion engine it would raise RPM to turn the alternator faster to charge the battery faster. Not sure how that equates to an electric car though.

Lower air pressure = tire wear tends to be towards the outer edge of the tire. Higher air pressure = moves the wear towards the middle of the tire.

Interesting. Maybe a pic might help. Maybe switch the centercaps with another wheel to see if the wheel is the issue or its the centercap and go from there.

I would remove the wheel and push out the center cap completely (from the inside) and then inspect to see what is going on. It should just push in at this point unless a pebble or something is in the way.
