Car seat memory recall might be a Porsche uniqueness. I believe if you open the door and didn't start the car, a single press will recall the full seating position. Once you start the car, or close the door, I believe you have to keep holding the memory button for full recall. don't remember...
19 months. about to hit 45k miles. 2 punctured ties, replaced under wheel/tire warranty. 1st service was @ 27k miles, didn't have time to visit dealer. 2nd service @ 44k miles (just had it done). No real big issues. Had a rattle that went on for like 6-8 months, but they finally got it...
When I'm charging my Tesla and there's an EA station next to it, I usually would witness a Bolt driving into the 1st stall they see, and it happens to be the 350kW one, and there are other 150kW stalls available, all empty. I so wanted to walk over there and tell them. Wife stopped me a few...
It's' ALWAYS a Bolt. Man, I'm so sick of it too. and sometimes a Kona. It seems like the slowest charging capable car will take the charger with the highest output. If you don't know what your EV can or can't do, read up and be knowledgable. How do people just decide to buy an EV and drive...
took to dealer because I got the Porsche tire warranty. they just replace it with a new tire, no repairs for Porsche dealers. This is my 2nd replacement in 18 months. Warranty is starting to become value added. It is a bit of pain because of them not keeping tires in stock.
Good thing, it's...
I'm @ 43k miles, 18 month ownership. I drive this car everywhere. Canyon carving on the weekends, daily commuter, weekend road tripper.
2 punctures (all rears), just finished 2nd recommended maintenance checkup (1st one was free, 2nd one was $1100, will have to lookup the details on that one...
car is just parked in garage, temporarily driving a boring Tesla. lol.
So far, it's been a week and still holding pressure. Dealer knows about sealant. They also said if I want to drive it, I can have it plugged. Possible option, waiting for a loaner to be available, and I'll drop it off...
Got a nail in one of the tires. Pull out tire sealant and flush the whole bottle in. Called service center. tire is back ordered till end of Oct. So I'm planning to just park the car home till replacement tire comes in. Will it keep puncture sealed for a month? Other option, is to drop it...
Range Rover has a stealth feature I love. it turns off the center display and dims other leds. when my kids were young, I would put it in stealth mode and in my best Christian Bale voice, "I'm Batman".
Wish Porsche does something similar. A good future OTA update feature request?

default in ORDP can be set to higher clearance, you can change this back to normal in the default profile or change to personal profile and leave height at normal. based on my memory when I first started playing with it, haven't change since. I drive with sport suspension on in normal, so that...
OP has a garage full of 10 other cars, and don't want to have to bring car key with him. Walks into garage, and randomly decides which car to drive today, knowing the car key is already in the car and ready to go? Just guessing.

It's getting annoying. I get this a lot too. I would say, this is border line dangerous.
With assistance off, it will gives warning, which I'm OK with.
BUT, sometimes, it will abruptly brake, like phantom braking, even though assistance is off. And sometimes, consistently at the same...
I hate the whole timer setup they use. I understand the concept, to always have the battery ready when you're ready to leave.
BUT, in practice, it works like 90% of the time. (for me)
that 10% when it does not work, is most likely Murphy at play, because that's when I need it the most...
So always at lease once or twice a week, popup notification tells me a car is driving in the wrong direction, usually 20 or 30 miles away from where I am.
How the heck do I turn this off? Seems like if I don't tap on X to close the window, it just stays on top, and it's big enough to block PCM...
I did my 1st service @ 27k miles. Dealer said it was a freebie, but said he had to call Porsche HQ to get it qualified. Not sure what that means. Car was in for other issues, and they just took care of the 1st maintenance. So I think you can stretch it.
