My car has been delivered my OPC this morning after completing its build on 4th December! Looks like Porsche have been pushing them through the system quite quickly, possibly to avert any post Brexit issues.
Sadly mine has arrived just too late for me to collect it before Christmas but I am...
Coffee Beige and before you ask, yes I am serious!
My Turbo S is due any day now (currently at port of Grimsby waiting for the final leg of its journey to my OPC) so prepare to be blown away by the pics very soon!
Mine completed its build on 4th December but has only just arrived at Grimsby (Friday 18th). There is simply no science to the delivery times!
OPC has no idea when the car will land with them (apparently they are only notified 24 hrs before the transporter arrives with it) but have suggested...
Not wishing to add further confusion to the situation, my OPC has said that the Taycan may be subject potential import tariffs in future since authorities are considering whether or not it is actually manufactured in Europe. For a vehicle to be deemed as being manufactured in a country the...
Does anyone have any news or had updates from their dealers re vehicle deliveries over the xmas holiday period?
Latest from my OPC is that the car finished its build on 4th December (apparently it has been allocated VIN number which is a good sign) but seems to be sitting with the status of...
According to my dealer, my car left the factory on the 4th December and they have received the chassis number which acts as confirmation of its build completion. The current status is showing as 'compound transit' which means its awaiting transport to Emden for onward shipping to Grimsby...
Thanks for posting.
Personally, I think the colour looks better in these pics than in any of the others I have seen.
Mine due in a couple of weeks so very excited to see it now!
I was concerned about resale value but my OPC said they did not think it would have any impact. In fact, they said it might work in my favour as many people are trying to move away from Black, White, Silver and Grey. They positively encouraged me to go for it when I was still wavering.
My car...
That's an interesting thought. For a bit of fun before ordering my car (as I had similar doubts to you) I showed various renderings of the car in Crayon, Cherry and Coffee Beige to my kids and some of their friends (9 in total, aged between 16-24). Surprisingly, Coffee Beige turned out to be a...
My Turbo S is currently going through its production run. Delivery expected early to mid December. I will post plenty pics when it arrives.. I have gone for lots of Black trim and full gloss Black wheels. I am hoping the contrast really makes the colour stand out. Like you I just wanted...
Thanks Oystein, these pics make me feel a whole lot better about my colour choice!
I really like what I see it and I think with the all black ME wheels and rather large yellow PCCB callipers that come with the Turbo S, its going to look great. I also went with black leather interior to...
Thanks for your very honest view. I am past the build freeze date and have yet to see a Coffee Beige car in person but I do admit to feeling very nervous.
I switched between Crayon and Cherry, then for some reason flipped to Coffee Beige almost at the last minute based on the paint sample I saw...
Thanks for the photos.
It’s such an interesting colour and I can’t wait to see my car. Although it’s metallic, it’s not obvious from the pics but I guess the shade and tone varies depending on light and background conditions.
Do you have any regrets about your choice? What do people who have...
How is the weather in Sweden?
The reason for my question is that I have always been interested in Scandinavian weather and it's certainly not the case that I am just desperate to see some more pictures of a Coffee Beige Taycan! :giggle:
