I received the following from Porsche Financial Services, the residual on the 4S for a 36 month lease is 51% $70482 for 10k miles/yr and 50% $69,100 for 12k. The MRM is capped $138,200. (the number was increased from $129,000 back in January) Also back in January MF was .00350 now MF is .00250...
I agree they will probably have another program but the current sticker on the Taycan will expire Since 2014 I've staggered my cars so I get the new color each year Its really only a game changer of the Bay bride commute it saves 30 minutes each way. If they announce a new program for 2025 and...
With the HOV access only linked to the VIN for up to up to 42 months and the hole program set to sunset on Sept 2025 I leased as the car will not be able to drive in the HOV land after Jan 1st 2024 as this will be my daily driver
I would hope no dealer ever directly connect a car to the internet. I just think "Mother" will want to see and confirm in real time that the files are received by the dealer and with ALL cars now needing huge files uploaded and downloaded daily a dealer with a non managed connection might have...
Yes my Chargepoint is a 32A model the one before the the NEW flex although that too is set to 32amps if you buy the plug version only the hard wired one can "FLEX"
Here is my breaker setup for the two chargers
OK so its the Chargepoint that's setting/limiting output to car at 32AMPS. The breaker is a pair 20/50 for each circuit ( from the Tesla charger) If I plug the Porsche charger into the 6-50 plug on a 20/50 circuit it will do 40AMPS is that correct
daveo4EV, I have 2 x Chargepoint chargers in my garage plug in versions on NEMA 6-50R plugs the breaker setup is 20/50 + 20/50 for each one I used to have a Tesla charger hard wired for my MS but added the second Chargepoint when we got he eTron. Should I change out one of the NEMA 6-50 to a...
Im not an electrician and I might be wrong but I thought when using a plug in rather than a hard wired connection from breaker to a wall charger the AMPs need to be set to 32AMPS for the plug version it can go to 40AMP when hard wired
Not apples to apple just as a form on information I just went into my garage to take a heat reading of my Charge Point its been plugged in 1.5 hours charging my Kona. The readings I got 83.4 at the wall plug and 81.1 on the cable with a reading of 83 on the charge cable to the car
Also check to see if the Tesla charger is hard wired or a plug-in model and at the same time see if they have a 240 plug anywhere like for laundry or something you also have a plug for that in the charging kit
You need a Tesla Tap to use hotel Tesla charger, your car charger pack will have a 110 plug just swap out the plug end and then with 24 hours to get some mile into the car
I think a lot of Dealers will find they not only need to have onsite charging but they will also need to invest in 1 or 2 Gigabit managed fiber connections for downloads and testing as the cars will have huge data systems...
I never liked the OTA updates on my Tesla model S some where good if not great but most where just annoying and just created other issues especially the time they update the whole display layout and look, it was so radical I and cumbersum I got rid of the car. Ill take major updates at the...
What gauge of wire did they use from the circuit breaker to the plug? I believe it should be 6 gauge and not 8 which is normal for a 240 outlet say for a dryer or washer
