Thanks for the recommendation! I called them today and made an appointment. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and were able to get me in during the week I was looking for.
I have not had great experiences at Burlingame or Redwood City, but to be fair, I'm very particular and have high expectations. I have recurring issues that those service centers have not been able to resolve: rattles, Sirius XM issues, Rear Park Assist error messages, etc. Is there a service...
To be clear, you had the same/similar "crack" as in my picture and not the vertical crack that has been mentioned on the forum several times? I'm trying to prepare myself for the discussion with the service center. Thanks.
I noticed a crack on the upper left-hand corner of the rear window yesterday; it's hard to believe this could be a rock chip? Has anyone else seen this? I could only find a reference to a vertical crack on the rear window in the forums.
I noticed this yesterday and wanted to check with the community to see if it's normal; inside the trunk, on both sides, there appear to be a few small, circular imprints on the painted metal. I have attached two photos for reference. Does anyone else have this on their Taycan? Mine is a 2021...
Here's an update in case someone searches: I think it has something to do with internet connectivity; I get the alerts (ParkAssist and Rear CrossTraffic) almost every time I start my car and my car is parked in a garage that blocks internet/network connectivity. I noticed that I don't get the...
I called SiriusXM again, was sent to their advanced troubleshooting queue; am supposed to get a call tomorrow, but they said in cases like this, it's usually the radio. I've brought the car to service for the issue before and they said it's a software bug.
Is there any update on this? It's driving me nuts. I am a paying SiriusXM customer and started to get this message almost every time I use the car now. I've sent a refresh signal multiple times, rebooted the PCM, called SiriusXM (no help at all), and I am tired of clicking OK on two screens...
I *think* that one is the driver's side seat, at the very bottom/near the base on the left side plastic. Check this thread- the OP posted a picture of where to stuff foam (or in my case, felt) and it seems to have mostly resolved that ticking/clicking sound. That one was driving me nuts, too.
While I agree that the rattles on at least some (including mine at first) Taycan's are excessive- especially for a Porsche, I'm happy to say that they can be resolved. At this point probably 95-100% (let's say almost all, depending on the roads) of mine have been fixed. It wasn't easy; many...
Thanks for all of the replies. I haven't decided to sell it, yet. I only want an EV and at the moment the only real alternative for me is a Model Y (which I have on order), but those have their own issues, and ride comfort is going to be a concern coming from the Taycan. I'm going to keep the...
I'm considering selling my 2021 Taycan 4S (black)- still undecided, so checking to see if anyone can help with selling price expectations. I like the car, but we could really use more space and it's not very practical for us as our only car. The specs are below; what do you think it would go for...
This is shocking to me; I came from a Tesla Model 3 Performance (multiple Porsches before that) and I was _always_ charging that car- I was lucky to get maybe 120-150 miles on a charge, and the car got noticeably slower at about 40% battery. I NEVER have any range anxiety with my 2021 4S with...
I feel your frustration. I had a lot of rattles when I first got my 2021 4S. This thread helped a lot, but the service center also replaced both front door panels. They still had to insert small pieces of felt on all of the doors, even after the replacement, but I'm over it. Most of my rattles...
I agree. On the subject of a working radio, and I hesitate to post this, but... my favorites haven't disappeared in maybe a month- it's definitely the longest stretch since I got the car last July. Has anyone else noticed this?
I will also say that I have had a few Porsches before this one (two...
